What an incredible weekend celebrating freedom, culture, community, and unity during the 5th Annual Quad City Juneteenth Celebration!
From the inspiring sounds of Carmen and the Melody Line, the exciting 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament, Saturday’s Celebration and Dance, to the beautiful Worship Service on Sunday, every event was filled with joy, fellowship, and pride.
We wrapped up the weekend with a fantastic Freedom Fun Day at the American Legion, enjoying bingo, Left Right Center, co****le, laughter, and great company. The smiles, conversations, and memories made throughout the weekend remind us why this celebration is so important.
On behalf of the Quad City Juneteenth Committee, thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, sponsored, performed, participated, and supported our events. Your presence helped make this year’s celebration one to remember.
A time was definitely had!
