Most of us Google when we’re traveling, but sometimes it can be hard to find updated information or discover those hidden local gems. ❤️

Every bedroom at The Trieschmann House has a "Welcome Binder" to help visitors decide where to eat, what to do, and what to explore while they’re here. 🫶

I’ve included a few sample pages below, so you can get an idea of how I already share local love with our guests. 🥰

Basically… I want to make it impossible for our guests to say “there’s nothing to do here.” 😂 I want them to know about all the great places, food, and businesses right here in our area.

Sharon, Cara, and Arty came in with one mission: beat Cara’s mom (and Sharon’s daughter) Brittney’s escape room time. And they did! 🎉

Now, to be fair… Brittney’s group did have a lock break during their attempt, so the competition might come with a tiny asterisk 😂

One of my favorite parts of what I do is getting to meet people. I got to chat with Sharon about her event planning, and they shared a story about a live outdoor escape room they experienced, which sparked some ideas for me!

Also, how fun are these grandparents to bring their granddaughter to an escape room?! I love seeing families make memories like this.

📚 Local authors wanted! ✍️❤️

The Trieschmann House is looking for local authors who would like to be featured in our historic home!

I have a few goals:
1️⃣ Host a multi-author book signing event
2️⃣ Showcase local talent throughout the house
3️⃣ Give authors a place to share and sell their books year-round

Any genre, any publication year, we just want to support local stories! 📖

Everyone knows Rob has poured many many hours into The Trieschmann House, but most of you probably don't know just how much my dad, Mike Chisholm, has poured into it. ❤️

I could show video after video of him working. But the videos don’t even begin to show everything he has done.

I could make a list a mile long of all the times he’s been there, doing whatever needed to be done to make my dreams come true. 🔨❤️

This Father's day I want to say thank you to the both of them, because I wouldn't be able to do this without either of them... and I ain't lying 💯

We love that The Trieschmann House gets to serve so many purposes from overnight stays and events to escape rooms and photoshoots 💛

With so much happening inside our little historic house, our schedule can change quickly. Our escape room booking website is always updated with the latest availability, so be sure to check before planning your next adventure! 🔐✨

We currently open escape room bookings up to 2 weeks in advance (and further out for guests staying overnight or hosting a private event). So be sure to grab your spot before we fill up again!

Can’t wait to welcome you upstairs for your next escape room… just not these next two weekends 😜

On June 18, 1994, Jan White and Kevin Sellers celebrated their wedding day right here at The Trieschmann House. 🤍

A huge thank you to her son, Kevin White, for sharing these beautiful photos with me. I absolutely love getting to see the memories made inside these walls and learn about the lives this home has been a part of.

This house has witnessed so many celebrations, milestones, and special memories over the years. 🏡✨
