I've been in and out of the Company House all week, and almost every time I’m there, somebody is working! ❤️

The Crossett Historical Society is run by a VERY small but MIGHTY crew, and Eddie Cheatham and Ginger are two of the people who keep things moving. They’ve been working on the cabin for weeks — putting up safe steps and cleaning it out after wildlife decided to make themselves at home. 😂

The upkeep of a property like this is truly a full-time job, and preserving Crossett’s history takes people who are willing to give their time and energy to it.

So, if you love our town, want to help preserve what we have, or you’re simply curious about Crossett’s history, we’d love to have you join the Historical Society!

And don’t let the word “society” intimidate you. 😂 We meet the first Wednesday of every month at 4pm, almost exclusively at the Crossett Area Chamber of Commerce. Wiggins is our one big event, but other than that, it’s a pretty chill group. Mostly just good people who love Crossett and want to keep its stories alive. ❤️
