Day 32 - Donation Progress!

WHAT IS SKYLAND ARTS FOUNDATION?

Our goal is to create a home for free/discounted arts programs with a state of the art facility. The building would be available for other arts organizations to use, as well as our own curated programs.

HOW ARE CLASSES FREE?

Once our building is operational, a large portion of our revenue will come from renting out our multi-use facility or hosting ticketed events such as concerts, culinary experiences, etc. These funds would contribute towards ongoing arts programs.

WHAT WE NEED TO MAKE THIS HAPPEN

Our building's occupancy is currently 45. Our plan to increase occupancy to 400 requires additional compliance - hence our fundraiser to get our building operational. The biggest hurdle right now is funding our fire sprinklers, estimated around $150k.

HOW CLOSE ARE WE TO OPENING?

In the first 30 days announcing our campaign to the world, we received 80 donations including $10,000 cash and well over $100k in construction related in-kind donations!

We have a milestone goal of getting 100 donors, so please spread the work and consider making a contribution of any size.

If we can fund the fire sprinklers soon, we will push hard to open the building before the 4th of July next year.

Many have asked for more financial transparency, so here it is!

In the past 30 days, over 80 donors have contributed both financial and in-kind support that has lowered our goal ceiling.

PHASE 1 - Foxhound Studios' investment after the building collapsed

Remaining funds required to open our building

What are these funds for?

Increasing our building's capacity from 45 to 400 means that we must install fire sprinklers - estimated at $145,000. This is the biggest hurdle to open our doors for occupancy.

Day 30

“Le International Show” at The Station in downtown Twin Peaks was a great success. A good mix of over 70 people enjoyed the 6 performers’ musical programs in a variety of languages and contributed donations for and Skyland Arts Foundation • Lake Arrowhead • Crestline.

Nearly $800 was raised. Thank you for the supoort!

Thank you to Louis Boehle for you confidence in the Skyland Arts Foundation.

Last winter, we collaborated with the Crestline Chamber of Commerce to host the first annual Holiday in the Pines.

We were able to open up the front of our building with Christmas decorations, carolers, Mr. And Mrs. Clause, their elves, and even the !
