A little more wonderful news. Our Slush Puppie machine has found a new, perfect forever home with Colleen Leskinen at her daycare. The kids there will be able to enjoy Slush Puppies for a long, long time to come, and it makes me happy knowing it will keep creating smiles and happiness every day.

I’ve got some good news. These have all found a new home at Paschal Sherman Indian School for their dormitory!! That warms my heart so much to know that these will go on to be enjoyed by so many kids. ❤️💛🖤🤍

There seems to be some confusion.

I am stepping back from running the business side of Village Cinema, but I am doing my best to keep the theater open while a transition takes place. Movies, birthday parties, and one big surprise event will continue for now. If someone takes over the business, the theater can stay open without interruption. November30 is the day on the letter. We’ve also still continued doing some renovations to create some much needed space and switch over to a self serve soda fountain. Yeppers… Pepsi and there’s talk of a specialty coffee coming in.

The Village Cinema Foundation is separate. It is the 501(c)(3) nonprofit I established to preserve and restore the historic theater building. The Foundation is still active and will continue its work on replacing the HVAC, fixing the roof, and completing the major building upgrades that the City cannot fund on its own. That is the whole purpose of the nonprofit. ❤️‍🩹
