We are sad to report the death of Morgan Barry Boothe, a faithful member of Gonzales Lodge No. 38, who passed away September 8, 2026. A celebration of life service will be held on September 12 at 2:30pm at First Methodist Church of Gonzales. Please keep the family in your thoughts and prayers.

Rebekah Assembly Past President Christina Jones-Hollaway has reported that the Balch Springs Odd Fellows and Rebekahs will host a memorial service at their lodge hall at 5:00pm, Saturday, September 12, 2026, for Past Grand Treasurer Henry R Blahuta.

A meal will be served at 5:00pm, followed by a Celebration of Life service. The lodge hall is located at 12001 Crumpton Road, Balch Springs, Texas, 75180. Please continue to keep Henry's family and friends in your thoughts and prayers.

The 78th Annual Home Pilgrimage will be held at the I.O.O.F. Retirement Center in Ennis, Texas, on Sunday, September 13, 2026.

Lunch will be at noon with a meal consisting of fried chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, corn, green beans, rolls, and dessert. Cost is $25 per person. To make a reservation, please contact Director Levonne Cannaday at 972-875-8641 no later than September 10, 2026. Accommodations are limited, so please be sure to make a reservation! It is important to bring exact change or a check when you arrive at the Retirement Center.

Past Grand Master Garry Bolch reported the death of Brother Wayne McHenry, a Veteran Life Member of Fred Ende Lodge No. 87 in Greenville, TX. Brother Wayne passed away July 11th. A funeral ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, July 18th, at 2:00pm, at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home in Greenville, TX. Visitation will be at 1:00pm until service time. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to:
