We wanted to take a minute and thank all those who has ever served this great country. Gives us the freedom to play this bluegrass music we love. God bless the active men and women in our services. As well as those who have served and those who gave the ultimate sacrifice. Thank you from all of us from Stoney River.

Everybody we will be at the amphitheater in spartan Tennessee Friday may 17 at 7pm. We will also be at bakers crossroads freewill Baptist church homecoming may 19 10am. Hope to see you at one or both of these.

It's almost festival time. We are looking forward to seeing what the year brings. Back in the old days competition was nearly every weekend. Push your city councils to bring back the festival and competition. Just look what it's done for smithville. Support bluegrass its growing more and more. We want wish our prayers thoughts to the family of a very special lady. Lilly pennicuff went with the lord yesterday. She has been around the festival's for as long as we can remember. She will miss her very much. From the Stoney River Band we love you lily!
