Reflecting on the journey we had, not just the achievements. I finally had the chance to showcase the trophies, tools, and cherished gifts that symbolize countless hours of hard work, dedication, and the incredible support of this community. From 2018 to 2023, I’m deeply grateful for the experiences and the friendships forged along the way. Here’s to embracing every step of the process and from each swing and miss.

Noah and his girlfriend Sage won the amateur league. The first teenagers to win a regular league tournament. And Sage has never thrown an axe before, and with a little coaching mixed with her competitive nature, she did great. Noah staying calm, mixing it with the adults, and staying precise throughout the entire tournament. We’re proud of them both on their first win!

Noah: “Hey Dad! Since you didn’t get one, I’m going to put my medal right in front of you so you have to see it everyday.” 😂

(Amy and I are proud of Noah for working hard and hanging in there on Will’s team)

- Amy and I appreciate you picking Noah up for your team during the Pro-Am. Noah had the BEST time ever. And according to Noah, he had a great time and got to trash talk his favorite people during the process.

Amy's performance at the WATL Pro-Am in Appleton, WI was truly impressive to watch. She showcased remarkable skill, determination and calmness, achieving a 3-2 record or 4-2 with a bye, with her only losses being by a mere point or two. Her exceptional performance led her to secure 3rd place for women and a commendable tie for 25th place, ultimately placing 31st out of an astounding 205(?) participants. It's evident that Amy gave her best and her achievement is truly a testament to her dedication and talent. I’m incredibly proud of her.

I also would like to give a warm heartfelt shoutout to owners and of allowing us to wear and represent your venue and for your continued support.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Iron Axe Society for the incredible shoutout and constant support they have shown us.

🎉 This week we have A LOT to celebrate, today is member Monday which means we are going to highlight an Iron Axe Society member…or should we say family!?

✨ We’re SO excited to announce the newest members of the Society; Nick, Amy, and Noah Doane!

👨‍👩‍👦 The Doanes are axe throwing royalty, it could have a little something to do with their co-ownership of the very successful brand 40 whacks 🤷 All jokes aside 40 whacks thrives on fueling the axe throwing community by encouraging a safe and healthy outlet for throwers of all levels! 40 Whacks

☝️“You don't have to be the best in World, you just have to be the best that day." -Amy Doane

📌 It all started when Nick and his wife Amy went to Stumpy's Hatchet House on a date in Greenville, NC back in November of 2018…the rest is history! The Doanes have participated in several IAS events including marathon leagues, tournaments, and have even headlined a “Throw with a Pro” workshop. They’re incredible throwers and even better family.

✨ Specialized in:
Nick Doane: Hatchet 🪓
Amy Doane: Hatchet 🪓
Noah Doane: Knifes 🔪

👏🏼 We’re so honored to welcome them to the IAS family!
