Thanksgiving Arrival • Del Rio, Texas

When I pulled into the ranch last night, this is what greeted me — a sky so clear, so alive, and so overwhelmingly beautiful that it quite literally stopped me where I stood.

No filters. No special equipment.
Just OTG… and the night.

Out here, the stars don’t just shine — they burst through the darkness. Pleiades, Orion’s Belt, the nebula glowing like a promise, and a sky full of colors you never see in the city. Every twinkle feels like a reminder of how small we are, how blessed we are, and how much beauty God lays before us when we slow down enough to look up.

Thanksgiving tends to rush in with noise — travel, cooking, family, planning.
But last night at OTG, the first thing I received was quiet.
The good kind.
The kind that fills you.

Standing under this sky, I felt that familiar peace the ranch always brings… that sense of grounding, gratitude, and purpose. OTG isn’t just land. It’s our family’s legacy, a labor of love, and a place where moments like this remind us why we work so hard to build it.

If you ever needed a sign to unplug…
To breathe…
To reconnect with nature and with yourself…

Jamie took on Old Baldy in Wimberley, TX, with a goal of 5 climbs up and 5 down… but ended up doing 6 and still had the energy for a 2-mile hike after! 🏔
