There are not enough words to express my thanks and gratitude for the turnout and energy that happened at the show today. These shows take alot of time and effort to plan and carryout, and there were several people who i talked to today that just thanked me for putting the show on, which is truly appreciated. I definitely could not do these without the help of family and friends. From my wife Christine, son Jaimeson and our dear friends Autumn and Bronwyn, it is really a giant team effort. With all the awesome dealers and customers, it makes for a great time and a uniquely awesome treasure hunt. On a side note, the starting hour of the show is 9am. No one is allowed access to the show floor before that. No one. I do not believe in early buyers admission, 9am is the hard start and it will not change. Also, There is still alot happening with the dealers either still setting up, or having to run around for other reasons before we open. I also have last minute touch ups or requests that have to be done before showtime. We open the door and allow people to wait inside until that area is filled, so you don't have to sit in your vehicle. We do not collect any money prior to 9am due to insurance requirements, so please don't ask. The reason I am saying all this is because there was a person or 2 who were commenting kind of rudely to the ladies at the front door, which I addressed with an announcement at the start of the show. If you have an issue with something, please come talk to me directly. Anyway, back to positive thoughts. The show was awesome. My next paper show will be September 27, 2026. It is a different weekend than normal, but the building was not available and I had to move to that Sunday. I will post more once we get somewhat closer. Once again, a huge thank you to all who setup, came as customers or helped run the show. Please have a safe rest of your winter and we will see everyone real soon.
