The Fifteenth Annual Sean Carney's Blues For A Cure 2026 – Harrison County. A Free Public Concert to be held Friday (6pm start) June 26 and Saturday (4pm start) June 27, 2026, at The Mark at The Park stage at Sally Buffalo Park, 43000 Industrial Park Rd., Cadiz, Ohio. The proceeds benefit WVU Harrison Community Hospital Foundation and the Harrison County Cancer Crusaders. Since inception, this annual charity concert event has raised over $320,000 for the local area. Blues For A Cure, has raised over $500,000 since Sean Carney started the fund in 2007. This is the sixth year the event is a two-night concert and will be hosted on The Mark At The Park stage.

Headlining the event is IBC band finalist and Best Guitarist Award Winner Gabe Stillman Band. Filling in the lineup is event namesake, 2007 IBC Guitar Champion Sean Carney Band with special guest and 2015 IBC Guitar Champion Noah Wotherspoon, and keyboard talent Ricky Nye. We are very excited to welcome Austin and The Syd Experience band to the Blues For A Cure Family. This up-and-coming band is a funky music gumbo you have to experience, the Midwest’s hottest new blues soul funk rock sensations. Once again, bringing his soulful harmonica and vocals to our stage is Canton Ohio’s Jake Friel.

This Blues For A Cure concert will serve as the CD Release of Blues Cures 17, the seventeenth CD in the series of Live Studio Jams with the artists who've been a part of our concerts over the years. Among the artists featured on this release along with Sean Carney are John Nemeth, Gabe Stillman, Jake Friel, JP Soars, Anne Harris and Jimmy Adler. The CDs will be available as a free gift for a minimum $10 donation.

This event is BYOB. Food, water and soda will be available for purchase from on-site food vendors. Please bring your lawn chairs, sun tents and blankets.

A limited amount of Saturday $50 VIP/Sponsor stage side tent tickets will be available which will include food and beverages.

Founded in 2007, Blues For A Cure returns to Natalie’s in the Music Hall on April 3rd for an All-Star Spring Concert. Now in its 19th year and showcasing 19 CD releases, this event brings together an "All-Star Reunion" of musicians who have been pivotal in Blues For A Cure’s history.
The evening will feature the Sean Carney Band with the Ohio Horns, joined by special guests Ricky Nye from Cincinnati (International Boogie Woogie Hall Of Fame inductee), Hadden Sayers (Blues Music Award Nominee), Scotty Bratcher (guitarist for Noah Hunt), and Noah Wotherspoon (2015 Albert King Best Guitarist Award winner).
This event is a true reunion; every artist on the bill has a deep, long-standing history with the organization, appearing on multiple "Blues For A Cure" CDs and performing at numerous past benefits.
The event will include a Live Charity Auction where attendees may bid on exclusive items, including an autographed guitar signed by Joe Bonamassa. All proceeds will directly benefit the OSU James Cancer Hospital and the Heather Pick Music Program.
All attendees will receive the latest Blues Cures Volume 16 release featuring some of the artists at the concert.

WVU Medicine Harrison Community Hospital is grateful to have received $15,100 from Sean Carney’s 14th annual Blues for a Cure concert.

Proceeds from the event support the Harrison Community Hospital Foundation Cancer Fund and the Harrison County Cancer Crusaders, helping local residents with cancer-related travel, treatment costs, and basic living needs.

“We are grateful for the continued generosity of our community and its commitment to supporting individuals who need financial assistance while battling cancer,” said Judy Bruno, president and CEO of Harrison Community Hospital. “If you know of a cancer patient in need of help—whether for transportation to treatment or necessary medical equipment—please encourage them to call 740-942-6206.”

This year’s concert featured performances by John Nemeth & The Blue Dreamers, JP Soars’ Gypsy Blue R***e featuring Anne Harris, Jimmy Adler, Electric Mud, Sean Carney, Jake Friel, and Gabe Stillman.

“It was an honor once again to host Sean Carney’s Blues for a Cure 2025 with such a stellar lineup of talent, all while raising money to help those afflicted with cancer in Harrison County,” Mark Puskarich, event organizer, said. “Since our first Sally Buffalo Park concert in 2012, we’ve raised over $320,000 with this annual event. We look forward to hosting the June 26-27, 2026, event with headliner The Gabe Stillman Band.”

Blues For A Cure 2025 Day 2, June 28. We've moved inside Wallace Lodge so the show will go on without worrying about the weather and we have AC!! So cool and dry. Food vendors will be nearby. We have tables and chairs set up. Cmon out and enjoy a great night a Blues Music and support a great cause.
