Andrew College Cheer is a rapidly growing program that has achieved impressive success in just three years. As we transition from a junior college (JUCO) to a four-year NAIA institution on July 1, our program continues to build a strong foundation for long-term excellence.
Despite being one of the newest programs in the region, we have already earned a Top 5 finish in the Small Coed division, demonstrating our commitment to competitive success. What truly sets Andrews College apart is our focus on developing well-rounded student-athletes. We are dedicated not only to helping our athletes succeed on the mat but also to preparing them to become outstanding leaders and individuals after graduation.
As a recruitment-based program, we do not hold tryouts. Instead, we actively recruit athletes who align with our culture, values, and vision for success both in athletics and in life.

Program Spotlight…..

📣The Citadel's cheerleading team supports our NCAA Division 1 sports. We cheer at all home football and basketball games, as well as select away football games and the Southern Conference basketball championship each year!

📣Contrary to popular belief, you do NOT have to go into the military after graduation! If you do want to pursue the military though, The Citadel is an excellent starting point!

📣The Citadel's academic rigor, leadership opportunities, core values, and network of illustrious alumni will lead any graduate -- but especially a student-athlete -- with a lifetime of connections and success. Those who "wear the ring" are admired and recognized nationwide!

📣Our team is multi-talented! While we do place emphasis on well-rounded performers (e.g., cheer, dance, gymnastics), the most important thing is your passion, spirit, and coachability.

📣We will be attending the SC Collegiate Cheer Combine as well as the Georgia Tech Recruitment Combine. Be sure to come chat with us!

Program Spotlight…..

Charleston Southern University Cheer is a Division I, fully funded program located in Charleston, South Carolina. BUCS Cheer has competed the past 4 years at NCA. In 2025, they came in 3rd place and 4th in 2026. BUCS Cheer represents the Buccaneers on the sidelines and on the national stage.

Our program offers game-day and competition teams giving athletes the opportunity to cheer football, basketball, and compete at NCA College Nationals in Daytona. Built on discipline, accountability, and a team-first culture, CSU Cheer is focused on developing well-rounded athletes who can perform with confidence in both game day and competition settings.

We are currently recruiting for the 2026–2027 season and seasons to come. We are looking for athletes with strong stunting and tumbling skills, including 3 standing back handsprings, standing tucks, and running tumbling through to tucks or layouts. Come be part of a growing Division I program in Charleston, SC!

College of Charleston Cheerleading is a nationally competitive program, earning the 2021 Small Coed Intermediate National Championship and finishing as National Runner-Ups in 2022, 2023, and 2026. Built on grit, discipline, and a strong team-first culture, our athletes are pushed to grow while being supported every step of the way. With the unique advantage of dedicated training time, we focus on elite skill development, team chemistry, and peaking when it matters most. From electric game day environments to a legacy of excellence at NCA College Nationals, this is a program driven to compete at the highest level.

Program Spotlight……

The Converse University Acrobatics & Tumbling program has established a strong competitive presence, with multiple NCATA National Championship appearances (2018, 2019, 2022) and a top finish of #6. We’ve produced national event champions in Open Tumbling (2019, 2024), 6-Element Acro (2022), along with four NCATA All-Americans, two Freshman of the Year honorees, and consistent All-Conference and All-Academic recognition. Also, winning the inaugural Conference Carolinas Championship in 2021.

Our mission is to build a championship culture rooted in trust, discipline, and accountability, and we take pride in developing versatile athletes who can perform across all events and positions. What truly sets our program apart is our emphasis on all-around development, team-first culture, and a standard of excellence both on and off the mat.

We are currently recruiting the Class of 2026 and transfers, and we will be hosting a skills clinic on May 9th from 11:00 AM–2:00 PM ($75), with additional details available in our Instagram bio.

USC Upstate Cheer is a fully funded program where every athlete is eligible for scholarships, with the ability to stack athletic and academic aid and qualify for in-state tuition. Our athletes train with elite support—including dedicated athletic trainers and strength coaches—while paying zero out-of-pocket costs for travel, gear, competitions, or team events. We practice four days a week, cheer at all home basketball games with a balanced schedule, and compete at NCA Camp annually, with plans to take the floor at NCA College Nationals in 2027. Backed by top-tier resources and a commitment to excellence, our program is built to develop and support athletes at the highest level.

Lees-McRae College is situated in a gorgeous mountain town an offers many unique programs with an emphasis on experiential learning including Pre-Veterinary Science, Wildlife Rehab, Pre-Physical Therapy, Exercise Science, and Outdoor Recreation Management. We are a Small COED Team with a focus on both game day and competition. At the DII level we offer competitive cheerleading scholarships and are lucky to have access to all the same resources as the NCAA teams (athletic training, strength and conditioning, etc.).
