On Friday, September 19, Amy Kampmeyer met with WFEM Board Treasurer Matt Bentivegna to present a generous donation of over $6,200 to the Wisconsin Fire & EMS Memorial.

This amazing gift was made possible through the Run for Jamison event held during Colby Cheese Days, honoring the memory of Jamison Kampmeyer – End of Watch: March 4, 2012.

🙏 Thank you, Amy, and everyone who took part in the Run for Jamison, for helping us continue our mission.

A portion of these funds will support and celebrate our First Responders at this year’s Final Alarm Ceremony. 🚒❤️

I like to thank the Colby-Abbotsford Police Department, who help me close off roads, put no parking signs up, and patrolled the area to make sure all were safe.

Twas the Night before Christmas…..

Some reminders with the parade tomorrow.

First Weather looks perfect for a parade!

Line up starts at 10 am. I will be at the intersection of Adam’s and 2nd; directing you on where to go . I will have my helpers at the Colby high school ; there most floats will line up. (Parade coordinators will have orange shirts on) 

Dolf Street is reserved for our first responders. (Fire trucks / ambulances ) So no parking there.

Adam’s street; I’m reserving for large semis or tractors.

The only reserved spots are the first responders and our military (VFW).
Everyone else we just line you up as you come in .

Once you are in line and waiting for parade to start; you need to have a license driver with your float at all time; in case it needs to be moved.

So everyone bring your Christmas Joy; and have fun .
