Look what's rollin' into Lake Fest!

It's the VA250 - American Revolution 250 Commission mobile museum and they're here for 2 days during the Virginia Lake Festival! It's all free thanks to our friends at Visit Mecklenburg County VA! Mecklenburg Tourism is making it possible for everyone to enjoy this exhibit during the Lake Fest weekend.

It's a hands-on, interactive, and immersive “museum on wheels,” and the VA250 Mobile Museum Experience is housed in an expandable tractor trailer. The mobile museum brings key stories of Virginia’s rich history, highlighting every region of the state. You don't want to miss this opportunity to visit the museum.

Congratulations to Amanda Young, our LakeFest logo winner. Amanda was chosen from among 7 other artists who used 3-4 elements from a list of 17 that represent the Lake Festival experience. Entries were submitted anonymously to a panel of judges, making their selection solely on creativity, originality and design. All the submissions were unique making it a very difficult decision. Thank you to all participating artists.

Harvest Day is tomorrow so plan to bring everyone to downtown Clarksville where you'll find vendors, a food truck, kids activities and shopping with all of your downtown favorites including restaurants and cafes with seasonal drinks and food.
