Join the Catch22 Osprey's in raising funds for their trip to France for the International Breast Cancer Dragon Boat Festival by dining at the East Vancouver Red Robin anytime during their open hours of 11am-10pm on Wednesday June 3rd. 20% of the proceeds will go to their team. When you select your team type from the dropdown menu, the payment options will appear on the page.

**If you are registering more than one team, PLEASE make sure you register them with different team names; it could be as simple as "PaddlePunks A" and "PaddlePunks B." We can change the team name on the roster later if you come up with something more clever 😉

Paddle for Life 2026 - Registration Opens March 1

As has become our tradition, Paddle for Life 2026 will take place the first Saturday in August at the Lake River Kayak Launch in Ridgefield, WA - it is August 1 this year - and again we will have 250-meter races in 10-person boats.

On March 1, team registration will open on our website PaddleforLife.org. The fee will be $450 for each rostered team.

We will be able to hold a total of 80 races over the course of the day. This limits our registration to a total of 52 rostered teams. Each week, I will publish how many spots remain, and when they are full, I will compile a waiting list of any teams still wanting to participate. We wish to make the day pleasant for participants and volunteers by taking time for breaks and by making sure the day does not extend too long.

Clubs, please register only the boats you know you can fill because we would love for as many teams as possible to be able to participate. One boat roster may include up to 15 paddlers.

No cross rostering, please. At the most, a paddler may be on one women’s team, one mixed team and one BCP/ACP team. After registering in a Women’s or Mixed Division, BCP & ACP Division teams will register separately and pay $1 to race. BCP/ACP races will consist of one-heat (based on sufficient registrations).

I will remind you on March 1 that registration is open.

What a beautiful day at the races! Paddle for Life 2025 brought together dozens of teams raising funds, building community, honoring survivors and celebrating the strength and spirit of dragon boating.
