My con haul. It’s not that much, as I just got my book signed and a keychain. However, the book is very special to me, as I got it signed by Lucie Pohl. She wrote a very kind message to me, and it honestly made me tear up reading it. The sentimental value will outweigh the monetary value of spending a lot of money on merch at a con. Also, that keychain is really snazzy, and it comes courtesy of prawnm33/mmmagnolia, who is a great artist. (She’s the very same one who drew that piece I took a vid of that story!) Overall, even if I didn’t have enough money to do everything I wanted and Chicago was too cold to enjoy (seriously, the weather here makes my Northern Californian soul cry), this was a memorable trip and a truly great one as well. I had been wanting to come back to Chicago for a while, and I’m glad I made it back here. But mostly, I’m really grateful I got to meet Lucie Pohl, and was able to tell her in-person just how much Mercy, and her support of Pharmercy, means to me ~ ღ -

Accompanying me to Chicago are two very special copies of the zine. And what makes them so special? The fact that they’re two of the last ones I have! One of them is going to a very special person. (And just who is that person? Well, you’ll find out tomorrow!) However, if you’d like a copy of the other zine and just happen to be in Chicago, message me for the other details! We can arrange to meet in person, where I’ll personally hand you this magical, gilded copy of the zine. Supplies are very limited, so act soon if you’d a final copy of the zine! 👀 📖

I met Jen Cohn on Friday and got her to sign a second copy of the Pharmercy Zine. I had her sign another one because well, we, being the ‘genius’ I am, I somehow managed to ‘misplace’ and lose the first copy of the zine she signed (😫). This aside, she was very sweet and very kind to me, and wrote me a heartfelt message that absolutely made my day. And apparently, she referenced the Pharmercy Zine and gave us a shoutout at a panel as well. It honestly brings a tear to my eye and made me cry to see how much she supports this zine. This zine is the culmination of so much blood, sweat and tears and so much hard work was put into this. And to see it being supported by Pharah herself is the ultimate, rich reward. I feel like it’s a culmination of so many things that led up to this monumental moment, and to see the type of adulation and support the zine has gotten has honestly made me quite emotional. Thank you, thank you again Jen Cohn for supporting this endeavor. It honestly means the world to me that you do. Words can’t express or properly convey the way I feel over it. And thank you to everyone else who supported it as well! Words fall short of expressing my true gratitude and the way I feel over the matter. I went through a lot for this zine, but knowing that the zine has touched so many lives and helped so many people and that — more importantly, it was supported by Pharah *and* Mercy themselves, makes it all worthwhile ~ ღ 💞 💕

Got my jersey signed by Jen Cohn! 😄 And I plan to get it customized too (can you guess what the name and number will be?!) This continues my tradition of giving the Overwatch VAs custom made jerseys for characters from their respective counties. And I’m glad the VAs have been quite receptive of their gifts as well (as evidenced by when she wore the jersey I gave her the day France won the World Cup!) 🇫🇷 Also, Jen Cohn is super sweet and she was really there for me and made me feel better when I need it. (And apparently, I was referenced in a panel by her as well!) More details will come about this when the con is over, but for now, I’m just really content and happy with how this weekend has gone. Thank you so much to everyone who showed me love this weekend! I love you guys so much! 💗💕 -
