Your work & life will get in the way, and you'll find yourself staring at a blank screen.

And that's okay.

You can't expect to create new content from scratch every time.
It's just not possible.

"I don't have anything new to post, guess I'll skip posting."

Don't do that! Do this instead:

Repurpose your best performing content.

Pick posts from your past that have done well and repurpose them into brand new content by:

1. Re-writing the hook
2. Adding a different perspective
3. Adding a different visual (video/graphic/picture)
4. Changing the CTA
5. Adding different hashtags

If your post had done great in the past, your community wouldn't mind a second serving of it.

It'll be something new for the new followers you've added since the last post.

Only you remember all of your posts, not your community.

Work smarter, not harder 😉

How to repurpose your content in 5 easy steps

Repurposing goes far beyond what most people think.

Long & short-form content can also be repurposed into a lot of different things.

For example:

👉 Add a different photo
👉 Change the text or hook
👉 Add a carousel/swipe file
👉 Turned the post into a video (if you aren't camera shy 😉)
👉 Repost it on a different platform (recommend focusing on just 2)

This is why I recommend having a central folder to save all of your content (Google Docs is FREE!)

That way, you always have ideas and content to pull from!

People don't recall your content as vividly as you yourself do.

I don't even remember what I posted 3 weeks ago.

Most of your followers did not have the opportunity to view your content on their initial posting, whether you are a social media manager or an individual posting for yourself.

Or they won't remember it.

Give your content you're proud of another shot.

And don't worry about what other people think.

Chances are, they're not thinking about you.

Repurpose your content.

Don't overthink it.

How to repurpose your best content in 7 easy steps.

1. Look at your past posts
2. Pick 5 that did well
3. Identify the core concept in them
4. Rewrite each from a new angle
5. Vary the formats and visuals you use for them
6. Publish them every 6 weeks
7. Repeat once a month

Example for me:

1. I look at my past posts
2. I check which did well ("10 reason to start posting on LinkedIn")
3. I know that people want to start posting on this platform
4. I pick one principle and do a new post on it
5. I do the same thing with designed visuals
6. I schedule them all to post next month

Don't be afraid to repeat yourself.

Your LinkedIn strategy needs to hit these 4 areas for a strong start of 2024:

Think of this as educating your target buyers about the hidden costs of not acknowledging their problem and how it's standing in the way of them achieving their goals.

📍 Content that shows you get their problem.

These topics signal to your target buyers that they're in the right place, and you know exactly what they're trying to solve.

📍 Content that connects your solution to their problem.

The trick here is to take a more subtle approach. Think of it as sprinkling your product into your content (i.e., screenshots) rather than turning the entire piece into a demo or pitch.

📍 Content that shows how your product is the right solution.

This isn't about boring product announcements, it's all about how you're solving their problem, offering an easy solution.

3. See how you can write it into lesser words.
4. Go to Canva or any other editor.
5. Choose a template for a new visual.

Scared of attempting something unfamiliar? I experienced the same fear.

Going into my first marathon training, it was frightened:

- 5am runs
- Diet control
- Cut nights out
- Go through pain & injuries
- Steal time from friends & family
