In celebration of AAPI Heritage Month, The Newport Theater hosts a full three-day festival of fringe arts from Chicago’s Asian American Pacific Islander community. It’s a jam-packed weekend of burlesque, bellydancing, poetry, circus arts, drag, music, cultural dance, and more!

In celebration of the Asian & Pacific Heritage Month, the annual Defiant Silk Festival returns to Chicago from May 9th to 18th!

This four-day Pan-Asian cabaret & arts festival is sure to leave you breathless as we take you on a weekend overflowing with bellydance, cultural dance, drag, burlesque, contortion, and circus!
