Revolutionary Days return to Allendale County THIS Monday! 🇺🇸✨

From March 16–22, the traveling exhibit from the South Carolina State Museum, Resilience & Revolution: Native Peoples in 18th Century South Carolina, will be on display in the Atrium at USC Salkehatchie.

Step into the stories of resilience, resistance, and culture that shaped 18th-century South Carolina and the Revolutionary era.

Throughout the week, experience:

🎤 Dynamic speakers & storytellers
📚 Educational programs for all ages

🕘 Stop by from 9am-5pm daily to be part of this special week of history.

Collaboration between Historic Performance Events, The Charleston Library Society and the Actors' Theater of South Carolina, brings history between the Marquis de Chastellux and Benjamin Franklin alive through the work of historian, Iris de Rode. Ben Franklin portrayed by Clarence Felder and the Marquis de Chastellux portrayed by Henry Cabaniss.

What a joy to be present at the most beautiful intersection of history, culture, and education! The Charleston Library Society invited Historian, Iris De Rode to share about discovering the volume of letters between the Marquis Chastellux, Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson and General George Washington. Historic Performance Events, contributed these historic gentleman as part of the evenings unique flavor.
