God Save The Queen City

God Save The Queen City Annual Music Festival in Charlotte, NC Thankfully, it was a huge commercial success with nearly 800 attendees who came away from the event eager for more.

In the summer of 2011, God Save the Queen City came about from the simple desire to put all the best of Charlotte’s musical talent under one roof in a great venue. This simple idea became a reality and grew into a music festival that we at Ink Floyd, the Chop Shop, the bands and all of our sponsors were proud to be a part of. For 2012, we used the same formula but with three times the impact: a th

ree-day event, three sound stages and saw us push harder than the previous year. Over 45 bands from the Charlotte area, and over 20 sponsors chipped in to give us a much larger platform. 2011 and 2012 saw the festival lineup comprised entirely of local talent. In 2013 we have decided to add some incredible national and regional acts mixed with our favorite local talent to push our capacity and reach. We feel that we have created a lineup that stands far and beyond the previous bills with our talent this year. God Save The Queen City 3 will be the Charlotte music event you won't wanna miss!
