Just as Taylor Baker was building momentum for her premium cookie business in the fall of 2025, she landed a spot at the Cabarrus County Fair’s new Mercantile. Nine days and 4,000 cookies later, Baker’s Finest Cookies experienced a new level of success. 🍪

Taylor and her confections are returning to the Mercantile this year, September 11-19. 🎡

Join us this Saturday, April 11 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Cabarrus Arena for the Spring Plant & Herb Festival, hosted by Cabarrus County Cooperative Extension / 4-H.

Stop by the Fair’s Propagation Station where kids can plant their own free starter, grow it at home, then enter it in this year's Fair 🪴 Contest details will be shared at our booth! We hope you stop by and see us!

Parking & admission to the Spring Plant & Herb Fest are free!

NEW 2026 fair food! A breaktime “AHA!” moment from our own Fair Director led to this refreshing + crunchy concoction coming this September.

Nothing says fair and rodeo in the south quite like deep-fried sweet tea bites 😋 Kick back, relax and learn how it all came together. And BIG THANKS to Gus and Chris for bringing the vision to life.

Happy Halloween & National Caramel Apple Day! 🍎🎃🍏 A fair without caramel apples? Couldn’t be us. Only a few hundred days ‘til we do it all again! 😜
