Tomorrow is the day! 🎉
We are so excited to welcome you to our Community Cookout & Egg Hunt—and we truly hope you and your family will come out and join us for a fun, meaningful afternoon together.
But before we do, we have something incredible to share…
Just two weeks ago, we were facing nearly a $5,000 deficit and weren’t sure how we would move forward. But through the generosity, support, and encouragement of this amazing community…
We are now FULLY FUNDED. 💛
We are overwhelmed with gratitude. Thank you to everyone who gave, volunteered, shared, and supported in any way. Because of you, this event is happening—and families in our community will be blessed because of it.
Now we can’t wait to celebrate together!

The countdown is on for one of our biggest events of the year — The Community Cookout & Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 4th — and we need your helping hands and heart to make it happen! 💪🎉
Each year, this event brings joy, laughter, and hope to thousands of families — and it’s only possible because of amazing volunteers like YOU.
Whether you’re great at greeting guests, love helping with the egg hunt, can help with food, or simply want to serve with a smile — there’s a place for you on our team.
Here’s what you need to know:
📅 Event Date: Saturday, April 4th
🕚 Time: 11AM – 2PM (volunteers needed as early as 8AM for setup)
📍 Location: NC Research Campus – 150 N Research Campus Dr, Kannapolis
🍽️ Roles include: setup/cleanup crew, egg hunt helpers, activity stations, food service, hospitality & more!
This is more than an event — it’s an opportunity to love our neighbors, connect with the community, and be part of something meaningful and fun.

🌳 Church in the Park 2026 – Tentative Dates Announced!
We’re excited to share the tentative dates for Church in the Park 2026! June 28, July 26, and August 23
Mark your calendars and begin praying with us as we prepare for another powerful season of worship, community, and creative ministry outdoors.
Church in the Park is more than a gathering — it’s an opportunity for the Body of Christ to come together in unity and serve our city through music, testimony, prayer, Scripture, and creativity.
As we begin early planning, we are looking to connect with individuals and teams who would like to participate in:
• Worship teams & musicians
• Testimony speakers
• Prayer teams
• Scripture readers
• Kids’ mini-sermons
• Drama & creative arts
• Other forms of Christ-centered creative ministry
If you or your team would like to be considered for one of the 2026 dates, we would love to hear from you. This is a collaborative event, and we believe every gift has a place.

After prayerful consideration, we’ve made the decision to host one large Community Cookout this year rather than multiple neighborhood locations.

While we were excited about expanding into six campuses, we did not receive the level of partnership needed to execute each site well.

Our mission hasn’t changed — we’re simply focusing our energy on delivering one powerful, unified event for our community.

What an incredible day in Veterans Park yesterday! From powerful worship led by Revive Worship Co, to uplifting words, joyful laughter, delicious food, and kids' smiles — God's presence was all around us. 💙🙌
We’re so thankful for every single person who came out on such a hot day — whether it was your first time or you’ve been with us before, YOU are a part of what makes this community so special.
