I'm so sad to announce we will have to cancel the Potato Hill Festival 😭 due to rain. All our events were outside. We want to take a moment and thank the Charleston Chamber and all the members for making this happen (especially Alaina and the executive board: Frank, Brandon and Jonas) This WILL HAPPEN next year! We also want to thank some special volunteers: Lacey Neissl Clark for creating Spud, our new viral sensation as well as Ronni Tate Young and Troy Flemming for their work with the 5k race.

Join us THIS SATURDAY, October 25th, for a full day of fun, food, music, and community celebration in Charleston!

🥔 5K, Farmers Market & Vendors at Mac Plaza, Car Show, Mashed Potato Eating Contest, Kids Games, and Potato Gun Competition happening around Main Street and Music Festival at the Fairgrounds to finish the evening!

Schedule of events 10-18-25

Many folks have asked “What is happening?” so I thought a simple list would help everyone out! This may change - we may add more events!

-7:30am - Potato Hill Festival “Mash Dash” 5k

—Around the same time- Charleston Farmer’s Market

-9am - Car show starts

-11am - Mashed potato eating contest starts

-11:30am - Family & Children games start

-2pm - Potato gun competition starts

-5:30pm - Gates open for Potato Hill Music Festival
