ANNOUNCING: The Thursday evening schedule of the March 10, 11, & 12, 2027 Gospel Music Encounter in Branson, MO.

The Gospel Music Encounter in Branson, MO is excited to announce its partnership with the Inhabit The Praise Concert Tour for the Thursday evening concert on March 11, 2027, at 6:00 p.m.
An Inhabit The Praise Worship Event offers a powerful blend of praise and worship music, Southern and Country Gospel. The night opens with a call to worship from the seven-voice ITP ensemble, followed by uplifting sets from The Cunninghams and Chosen Few, showcasing both progressive and traditional gospel styles.
After a brief intermission, The Better Halves—Camille Cunningham, Dalena Finney, and Sherri Eades—deliver what many consider the highlight of the night with their dynamic trio performance. They then introduce The Men of Acts, where the four part harmony sound of this male quartet rounds out the evening with unmistakable energy, humor, nostalgia, and heartfelt worship of great Southern Gospel music.
Each event concludes with united worship and a meaningful time of prayer, where many testify to experiencing a special touch of God.

We initiated our announcements last week and will continue to reveal the details of each exceptional showcase, concert, and event at The Gospel Music Encounter, scheduled for March 10-12, 2027, in Branson, MO. These releases will mirror the sequence of the actual Encounter schedule. Last week, we previewed the inaugural (Wednesday) evening concert, 'Melodies and Memories, Remembering The McGruders,' produced and hosted by Stan Cook and Larry Carter. Today, we present the Thursday morning daytime showcase, produced and hosted by Devin & Camille Cunningham called, 'It's A Family Thing'.

IT’S A FAMILY THING:

Join us for this incredible showcase—where harmony runs in the blood and worship flows straight from the living room to the stage—on Thursday, March 11, 2027, at 1:30 p.m. during The Gospel Music Encounter in Branson, Missouri. Hosted by Devin Cunningham, this unforgettable event brings together three outstanding family groups: Devin & Camille Cunningham, The Pace Family, and The Simmons Family. Each family carries its own unique sound, personality, and testimony, creating a dynamic, harmony-rich celebration of faith.

Though their musical styles vary, these families are united by one heartbeat: lifting up the name of Jesus. With different stories and different generations represented, they share the same desire—to worship with authenticity, passion, and the unmistakable blend that only family voices can create.

The showcase will offer a full range of musical expression, from high-energy, foot-tapping moments that echo classic quartet traditions to tender worship that settles deeply into the heart. It’s a showcase that beautifully illustrates what happens when families come together to sing for the glory of God.

ANNOUNCING:
Melodies and Memories Remembering the McGruders

“The McGruder days” refers to the celebrated era of The McGruders, a Southern Gospel group that rose to prominence in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Led by vocalists Carroll and Priscilla McGruder and Stan Cook, the group became known for its dynamic, high-energy live-band sound and standout recordings such as “Come Fly With The McGruders” now considered a landmark album in the genre.

The group featured a lineup of talented band members, including Eric McGruder, Denny Autry, Larry Carter, Landy Ewing, Greg Long, Mike Wilson, David Creech, and others. Carroll McGruder’s songwriting further cemented their influence, with songs like “Saved By Grace”, “Thanks”, and others becoming hits for top national southern gospel groups and artists. Their most beloved song, “I’m Going Home With Jesus,” became the number one song in Southern Gospel music and remains a fan favorite to this day.

On March 10, 2027, The Gospel Music Encounter in Branson, MO will celebrate this legacy with a special concert showcase called “Melodies and Memories: Remembering The McGruders”. Former members Stan Cook and Larry Carter will present their current ministries before joining together in sharing road stories, video footage, behind-the-scenes memories. Fellow Gospel Music Encounter Artists will join the celebration, offering live presentations of classic McGruders tunes.

Fans will enjoy memorabilia displays, photo backdrops, and opportunities to meet, greet, and get autographs of any McGruder alumni present. This special 90-minute tribute honors the unmatched legacy of The McGruders!
