Another fantastic and successful day at HP Hobby Con (HHC)!

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us this year. The energy and connections we experienced made every bit of the hard work worthwhile. We’re incredibly grateful to the community for your support and hope each of you had an amazing time!

Huge thanks to everyone who made HP Hobby Con this year a blast!

SUSAN VAN CAMP and your team rocked the show this year! You shared your passion, dropped knowledge, and left people inspired. You made the weekend unforgettable and we are so thankful to have had you visit us and not only spoil our MTG players, but also further ignite the passion in some of our other artists!

Vendors — You brought tables full of treasures, as well as demos that made people stop and stare. Despite mother nature making it tough with heat/humidity and a surprise storm, you kept our guests happy and entertained for hours! You turned that building into an epicenter of fun and we are still smiling about it!

Volunteers — The real MVPs. You kept everything running smoothly, answered a million questions, and somehow still smiled the whole time. We are unbelievably grateful for you supporting the dream!

Sponsors — Huge thank you to AT&T in downtown Caro for keeping our vendors connected (and secure!) so the payments can flow! We truly appreciate your support for the community and helping us bring this to life!

HP Hobby Con is almost here and the vibes are about to be immaculate!

Local Michigan creators, artists, cosplayers, gamers, and makers are taking over Caro for one epic day of awesome. Think artist alley packed with handmade goodies, gaming area with arcades & board games, cosplay contest energy, axe throwing, panels, Magic the Gathering action, and so much more.

By popular demand, The Coney Guys of Elkton are back this year—and they’re bringing the good stuff. Think classic Coney Island-style hot dogs loaded with that legendary secret family chili sauce. Messy, delicious, and worth every napkin. Come hungry!

Announcing our third and final judge!

We’re so excited to welcome Lil Miss Kitsune to the judging panel!

She’s a local cosplayer and talented singer/musician who regularly performs in the community. While she’s not a professional cosplayer, or deeply embedded in the competitive cosplay scene, her passion for the craft, creative energy, and love of the local community make her the perfect addition to round out our team of judges.

We’re thrilled to have her join us and can’t wait for you all to meet her!

Come hang out with an amazing lineup of local Michigan creators in the Artist Alley/Vendor Hall, check out food & drinks, join tournaments, show off your cosplay, play games, and enjoy everything else we have planned for the day.

We’re thrilled to announce more of our cosplay team for this years HP Hobby Con!

Joining us as judges for the cosplay contest:

Kitty Lizzie Cosplay: An award-winning, Michigan-based, fantasy and horror cosplayer with over 10 years of experience in costume crafting and couture character design. They are known for detailed foam builds, expressive makeup work, and a focus on 80s nostalgic characters such as Evil Lyn and Skeletor.

Pink Opal Cosplay: An award-winning Michigan cosplayer specializing in special effects makeup, wig styling, hand-sewing, and shoe-making. He has worked with SFX makeup since age 13 and focuses on strong craftsmanship while fostering a welcoming, inclusive cosplay community.

Hosting the cosplay contest will be Azira and Yuriio of Suriio Cosplay! Azira and Yuriio are a Michigan cosplay duo known for their energetic performances and content creation. Best recognized for their RadioApple (Alastor & Lucifer) cosplays, they bring humor, chaos, and community spirit to the stage as cosplay contest hosts.

Vendor Applications NOW OPEN!

Hey Michigan creators! We’re accepting vendor applications for HP Hobby Con– our comic con-style convention all about local Michigan creators & artists!

If you’re a local artist, comic creator, crafter, or small business, this is your spot to shine. Great crowds, affordable tables, and a fun, supportive vibe.

Every booth (10x10) includes a table, 2 chairs, electric, and 2 badges for $45.

Applications close July 16th— don’t miss out!
