What a weekend! ❤️🎸⛏️

As we catch our breath from the Rock and Coal Music Festival, we simply want to say thank you.

More than 1,500 people joined us over three days to celebrate music, community, and the spirit of Carbon County. Seeing families, friends, neighbors, and visitors gathering together reminded us why events like this matter so much.

Rock and Coal is about more than music. It's about who we are. We come from different backgrounds, but we share a proud heritage built by hardworking people who created strong communities through respect, friendship, and a willingness to help one another.

A special thank you goes to Ted Hinkley, Kourtney Cox, CJ McManus, and Layne Miller, whose countless hours of work helped bring this festival to life. Their dedication made all the difference.

But the real stars of the festival were you. Every person who attended, volunteered, sponsored, performed, or cheered from the crowd helped create something special. Your smiles, laughter, dancing, and enthusiasm turned a music festival into a community celebration.

For three days, we weren't just a crowd. We were Carbon County at its very best.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. We can't wait to make more memories together.

THANK YOU for an incredible start to the Rock & Coal Music Festival!

Washington Park was packed last night for A Tom Petty Musical Experience. With great food and incredible music, it was the perfect start to the festival 🎶

5 PM - Jim Fish & Mountain Country at the Wellington City Park
7:30 PM - Peter Breinholt & The Big Parade at the CERCUT
10 PM - Kirk Dath & The Bruisers at Helper's Rio Theater

Come hungry, festival goers 🍗 The opening night of the Rock & Coal Music Festival will feature Ruben's and their delicious BBQ!

The festival kicks off in Price City's Washington Park on Thursday. A Tom Petty Musical Experience will take the stage at 7 PM, with Ruben's serving up delicious food. We will see you there!
