Game of the Week: Niceville Eagles at Choctaw Indians
One of the area’s deepest rivalries takes center stage tonight, where records do not matter and every player will leave everything on the field.
The Niceville Eagles are beginning to find their rhythm offensively, led by the trio of Deagan McCoy, Jakobe Gilyard, and Caleb Leonard. Their playmaking ability could give Niceville plenty of opportunities to put points on the board.
Choctaw will counter with a deep group of running backs led by Carter Marracco, who can impact the game in multiple ways. After a bye week, the Indians’ offensive line should be rested and ready to create running lanes.
Niceville has struggled at times to defend the run, making Choctaw’s ground attack a key storyline. Can the Eagles outlast the Indians, or will Choctaw’s rushing attack prove too much?
