Hey all you wonderful Bichon breeders and exhibitors! Almost your last chance to enter and show off your beautiful Bichons at the Western PA Bichon Club Specialty at the Steel Valley Cluster! Entries close tomorrow, Wednesday, July 16th at noon! Our Specialty is Sunday, August 3rd with the Mahoning-Shenango KC. But there are FIVE days of all breed shows there at Canfield, Ohio so lots of chances for points! The all breed shows begin Wednesday, July 30th. And all in an air condition new building! SO HURRY UP AND GET YOUR ENTRIES IN TONIGHT! And be sure to join us for a fun show all about Bichons!

I would like to introduce you to our Puppy Sweepstakes judge, Ms. Patricia Murray! Ms. Murray has been involved in the sport of pure bred dogs for over 35 years. She has been an exibitor, professional handler, breeder, mentor and now judging. She showed Bichons in the 1990’s including a Top 10 Non-Sporting Bichon.
She is looking forward to judging our Sweeps in Canfield on August 3rd! COME JOIN US!

I am sure most of our exhibitors are familiar with our Conformation judge, Mr. Joe Walton. His wife Roberta (Bobbi) and he began exhibiting Shih Tzu under the Shen Wah prefix in the early 1970's. To date, they have owned, bred or finished more than 80 champions. He is approved to judge the AKC Sporting, Hound, Working, Terrier, Toy, and Non-Sporting, and Herding Groups. He began judging in 1987. Mr. Walton has also Chaired and served on several Judges Education committees. We are looking forward to having him share his expertise at our Specialty in Canfield on August 3rd!

Our Specialty will be returning to the new beautiful air conditioned building at the Canfield Show grounds on Sunday, August 3, 2025! AND the Cluster has expanded to a 5 day event!
