My first film homework assignment!

The rules were I was not allowed to edit any of the footage in anyway whatsoever. That included adding audio in post, color grading, or any digital effects.

it was a fun challenge to figure out how to make everything work in such a tight environment and with a short turn around. All in all I think I did a pretty decent job!

This was definitely one of my favorite photo shoots! ask me to do a graduation photo shoot and I jumped at the opportunity! After showing up on campus, we got to work taking photos at some pretty awesome locations until finally heading to a local hiking trail to finish off at some beautiful scenic Riverside.

i’m truly excited to see where this awesome fellow goes in his film career!

What a great time and what a great experience!

I realize that I never ended up posting most of the photos I took during my time working on “GRSS”. The days were long, but the company was unforgettable! Thank you to everyone who made those six weeks wonderful!

from the streets of DC, to the heart of Boston this amazing crew traveled far and wide!

Here are a few more photos that I took with .anthon_ . this photo shoot is still one of my favorites. I just love how the reflective fabric gave these images a pop.

.anthon_ is truly one of the most iconic people I’ve had the pleasure of working with. Even in the in-between moments of a hectic shoot day, Ant poses effortlessly.

These are a few shots I managed to grab right before we jumped back into filming for an upcoming album cover (more on that soon). We’ve been testing out some new techniques using a stunning light-sensitive fabric—and the results speak for themselves.

“Warm Jacket”

The sun held me up when my knees gave way,
Like a friend who don’t ask why you stayed.
Grass curled ‘round where my cuffs hung low,
Where the wind hums soft and the wild things grow.

No face to wear, no name to call,
Just denim threads and knees that fall.
I stood like a ghost in the heat of the day,
Waitin’ on a memory to find its way.

That kickball rolled through clover and dust,
And laughter faded like old rust.
But the light—Lord, the light stayed sweet,
Like an old coat wrapped ‘round a heart that beats.

Didn’t need to speak, didn’t need to run,
Just stood in the yard, wearin’ the sun.
I was barely there, but it felt like grace—
A warm jacket
in an empty place.

Thought I heard the swing moving again. Same creaking, same slow rhythm. Figured it was the wind, but the trees weren’t moving.

Went outside. Brought my light. Nothing there. Just the old playset. Still, quiet… too quiet.

I turned to go back inside and that’s when I felt it. Like something had been waiting. Watching.

I took the photo just before the air shifted. Before I heard the wood groan behind me.

I didn’t look back. I won’t again. Shot with a Fujifilm Xt3, 56mm, f1.4
