I am slacking on posting as usual! Titan Hospitality is offering a Culinary Crawl with their 4 Anne Arundel County locations. Today we visited Blackwall Hitch Annapolis for stop #3.

Their Sunday Brunch is $48 per person but well worth the money. Carving station, omelet station, raw bar, waffles and amazing desserts. Their cupcakes are amazing!!! Also offering $6 Mimosas and Bloody Mary's. Definitely worth checking out!

Work trip took me to Calvert County but took a detour down to Solomons for lunch at The Pier and a quick walk around town. To only find out that the place that had THE BEST Key Lime Pie was closed!

Then back up to Chesapeake to the Rod-n-Reel. Wow!! They are still under construction. Can't wait to see the final product. I look forward to hosting a happy hour there in the future.

On all my trips back and forth to the beach, I have watched this place getting built. Today, I actually drove by when it was open and I had time to stop. Cute little gift shop that also has some local beers for purchase. There is also a wine selection.

No plants this trip the car is already full but may have to make a trip back. Great plants for around the pool and thr butterfly garden I want to create.

There is also a coffee shop for those of you who need to refuel on your drive to or from the beach. Definitely recommend the stop!

As usual I have been terrible about posting. But once again the phone is full and time to get some stuff off my phone and into a saved place.

Yesterday, Visit Annapolis & Anne Arundel County hosted a networking event at the new(er) Fluegel Alumni Center. What a beautiful venue, inside and out!!

The public can rent the space without being an alum. The building is open during business hours and the public is welcome to walk around and take advantage of the view. We even had a fox run past us on the path.

If you are in Annapolis, go check it out. Venue space can hold up to 220 seat max.

Yesterday I got to take a tour and have tea at The Ivy Hotel. They are celebrating 10 years this year. The last time I was there, they were open but still doing work. Their architect was still on site, who just happened to be my dear friend Keith Ramsay. I got goosebumps when I walked passed the room I saw him in.

Keep an eye out on things happening here! It is a luxury boutique hotel but everything, and I mean everything but the spa and lunch and dinner, are included in your room rate! It is also a great place for a small wedding or other intimate events. If you are interested in learning more, let me know and I can connect you!

Last weekend we took a quick trip to DC to see the Art of Brick. It is amazing to see all of these built with LEGOs. Some are recreations of other pieces of art. Some are from the artists feelings. If you are a LEGO lover, definitely worth the trip.

We did the VIP that got us a free poster at the end. Not sure I would pay for that again. Tickets and more info about the exhibition can be found here https://theartofthebrickexpo.com/washington-dc/

Well I posted the same trip twice #1 & #9 so here is another #9

Got to attend the presentation of the Comptroller's Cup to Port of Leonardtown at Susannah's Watch B&B. The lavender was in bloom.

Susannah’s Watch is a beautiful and historic waterfront venue in Southern Maryland, known for its stunning views of the Patuxent River, rolling hills of lavender, and lush vineyard. Located within the historic Dixon Family Farm, it offers a unique blend of natural beauty and rich heritage, making it an ideal setting for weddings, corporate gatherings, and family celebrations.

There is also a Farm shop and other activities you can participate in. I would love to go back and check some of them out. For more info, visit https://dixon-family-farm.com/

While I have sailed on the Pride of Baltimore II many times, this was my first time sailing on her from Annapolis. Nothing like a beautiful day on the water that ends with a sunset!

To find out when she is sailing in 2025, visit https://pride2.org/come-aboard/
