Hi guys!!! So as you may have heard we have officially retired from hosting events on Diggins Hill in Cadillac.
🔥👻 We are going to host one last trunk or treat this year on Oct 24th from 5-9 pm. We will have hot dogs as usual and I will keep you updated as this event builds.
🔥Hot dogs will be available per donation this year. All proceeds will be going to Anne Hinkley and her family while she is recovering from some pretty serious health challenges.
❤️You may know Anne and Jamie from Spooky Sophies Halloween Bash. Anne and Jamie put this event on for the community in honor of their daughter who sadly passed from childhood cancer.

👻👻 Halloween in our driveway will be happening per usual with hot dogs. Last year we went through 600 dogs in our 4 hours during regular trick or treat. This year we have 1000 to cook. We will be asking for donations as well. All proceeds from this will also go to Anne and her family as she is expecting to be off work for about 5 months to recover.

Hi, everyone! 🖤🎃 We know it's been a while since our last post. Life has been… a lot lately!

Our family has been navigating some big changes, along with health issues that have taken up much of our time and energy. Sadly, because of everything going on, we have made the incredibly difficult decision that we will not be hosting our annual Spooky Sophie's Halloween Bash this year. 💔

This decision did not come easily. We have had SO much fun bringing this event to our community in honor of our sweet, spooky Sophie. 🖤👻 We have loved seeing families come together, creating Halloween magic, and being able to give back and help others along the way. We are so incredibly thankful for every person who has supported, donated, volunteered, sponsored, or simply showed up to celebrate with us over the years.

But don't worry… the costumes aren't going anywhere! 🎃👻
We WILL still be holding our FREE Halloween costume giveaway! With the cost of everything continuing to rise, we want to do what we can to make sure every kid has the chance to dress up and enjoy our absolute favorite day of the year. 🖤🎃

More information about the costume giveaway will be coming in the future. For now, we are still collecting new and gently used Halloween costumes and costume accessories of all sizes!

Hi friends 💜

It’s been a while since we’ve been active on Facebook, but it’s time to get back to work.

Since our sweet Sophie passed, one of our main focuses has been fundraising for Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital. Over the past few years, through various fundraising events, we’ve been honored to deliver hundreds of gifts to their Child Life and School Program and donate thousands of dollars to the Pediatric Oncology Resource Team (P.O.R.T.).

We’re excited to share that we’re currently planning our next fundraising event! Last year’s rummage sales were a huge success, so we’re doing it again. We’re planning a big Memorial Weekend rummage sale, and 100% of the proceeds will go directly toward purchasing gifts for the children at the hospital.

During her hospital stays, Sophie made hundreds of batches of slime, completed countless arts and crafts projects, and snuggled with many stuffed animals and dolls that were given to her along the way. Those gifts meant everything to her. They helped turn long, scary, and exhausting days into moments of comfort, creativity, and joy.

Our goal is to deliver the gifts around June 30th, the day Sophie would have turned 12. We would love to honor and celebrate her in a BIG way.

Starting next month, we’ll begin collecting donations for the rummage sale. If you’re doing spring cleaning and have items you’re looking to get rid of, please consider donating ❤️
