So a solid handful of people noted they wanted Big Bite Buffalo merch, and didn’t get to grab it at the event.

We’ve arranged for people to pickup merch tomorrow, 9/13 from our event partner Long Weekend Bakeshop at the South Buffalo Farmers Market. It’s a bit last minute, but we’re making it work!

The market is 9 am - 1 pm at Cazenovia Park, by the Casino building.
Reserve your merch on the Big Bite Buffalo website, and then pick it up tomorrow at Long Weekend’s market stand/tent.

Quantities are limited - 2-7 of each shirt size, and 3 Vegan Taste bags are left. So if you want something, get it on the website! We will keep orders up until midnight. You are welcome to stop by the market to see what’s still left.

It’s been about a week since Big Bite Buffalo happened for the ✨first✨time.

Thank you for helping to make it reality.
With 2+ years since the previous, different veg fest, it was hard to really know if vendors would sign up, or people would show up to a new event by a new team. You all did.
Huge, big thank you!
A survey was sent out to our mailing list, which has helped zero in on areas to focus on and improve for next year.☀️

Some people asked if they can still grab a shirt or vegan taste tote bag. Yes. We have small amounts of both items, and will have them for sale this week, with pickup this weekend.

Thank you Long Weekend Bakeshop and The Vegan Grocery Store for supporting the event as well as speakers from Strong Hearts Buffalo, Project Vegan 716, and SGT VEGAN for connecting with WNY vegans. 🌱 thank you Compassion & Cucumbers Vegan Podcast & Blog for the podcast shoutout about the day, Himalayan Institute of Buffalo for morning yoga, and Elmhurst 1925 for making sure everyone got to try the new Clean Protein drink. 💚

Big Bite Buffalo, 10 am-3 pm at the Parkside Lodge in Delaware Park🤍

⚡️Volunteers, meet at the Info & merch tent!⚡️

Delaware Park has a parking lot near the Lodge on Parkside near the 198. There are some coned handicap spots in here. 🤍
There is lots of street parking in the neighborhood. DO NOT park on random grass, find a spot on Parkside, Agassiz Circle or one of the side streets. 🤍 🚗🚙
Carpooling , biking, walking, public transport is encouraged! 🚐

YOGA IS AT 9:15! Byo mat and meet at the big tent in front of the lodge 🧘🏽‍♂️🧘 Thank you Himalayan Institute of Buffalo

Speakers start at 11:00 am in the Parkside Lodge. Kicking it off at 11:00 am with a Q&A with Joel from Strong Hearts Buffalo , then at 12:00 pm Marcy from Project Vegan 716, then SGT VEGAN at 1:00 pmthen Against All Oddz Animal Alliance Inc. at 2:00 pm. 🐮🎤

Grab a sample of Elmhurst 1925 clean Protein at the info & merch booth ( while supplies last )

Better Together Pet Resource Center will have their mobile clinic on site for free and reduced price vaccines and health services for dogs and cats. Take advantage of them being in from the Falls! 🐶🐱

Keep dogs on a leash and cats in a carrier/leashed.🐶🐾

Water refill station is thanks to The Vegan Grocery Store 💦

Big Bite Buffalo is happening on Sunday! So close! 🎉

You’ve got another day (until 8/28) to reserve your BBB T-shirts & Vegan Taste bags on the Big Bite Buffalo website. ⚡️

🤍🌱Show off your love for the veg scene in Buffalo, while directly supporting this free community event. 🌱🤍

The t-shirt is a soft sage color, and printed on a Comfort Colors heavy cotton shirt. It’s available in sizes S-3X, $26. 🌱⚡️

The Vegan Taste bags are filled with a bunch of snacks and goodies, including a reusable water bottle from The Vegan Grocery Store. Valued at over $55+, you can secure one for $29. Pictured are some, but not all, of the snacks that come in each bag. 💥

The tote is available in natural or black, and made from recycled materials. Thank you to Long Weekend Bakeshop and the Vegan Grocery Store for being a collaborator on the tote bags. 🤍🤍

✨Envision Positive with handmade flair and accessories, and is coming to town at the request of many of you
✨Najah Corporation with flavors of Somalia in sauce and spice form
✨Connect with Food Not Bombs and their mission of serving vegan meals for free to the community
✨Mockingbird Farm Sanctuary will have information about their animal sanctuary, as well as merch
✨Vinegars Etc. will have a selection of their vinegars and pickles
✨Against All Oddz Animal Alliance Inc. will have information about their animal rescue, and will be giving a talk at 2:00 pm about their work helping animals
✨Buffalo Plant Burgerwill be offering their scratch made burgers and plates of comfort eats
✨Feel Rite Fresh Markets will be representing as one of the WNY staples of organic and natural foods, with mulitple locations
✨Fred's Vintage Finds will have vintage sportswear, workwear, quirky shirts and accessories to keep your fashion sustainably minded
✨AARC (Formerly Showing Up for Racial Justice - SURJ Buffalo) will be sharing information on their advocacy campaigns that you can get involved with....
