Ever since the fourth Brooklyn Memorial Cup for Alzheimer's, we’ve presented an annual award, known as The David Gross Advocacy Award, to an individual who is active in the fight against Alzheimer’s and does extraordinary work for the cause.

This year, Julie Stewart-Binks and Jason Wedge were our co-recipients, joining Jon Ledecky, Mark Oster, Shannon Hogan Gorey and Kim Battaglia, as the legacy of the award continues to grow.

There’s not enough words to properly describe just how amazing it has been to watch the annual Brooklyn Memorial Cup for Alzheimer's grow into something so special.

We raised $2,347 in Year 1 (2019).

$1,355 in Year 2 (2020)

$3,457 in Year 3 (2021)

$7,000 in Year 4 (2022)

$11,405 in Year 5 (2023)

$13,393 in Year 6 (2024)

$13,794 in Year 7 (2025)

And NOW, $19,857 in Year 8 (2026)!

8-Year TOTAL: $72,608

The sky’s the limit and hopefully one day a cure will be found for Alzheimer’s.

We raised $19,657 for Alzheimer's Research (an event record)!

We are 54th in the ENTIRE COUNTRY this year (out of 2,087 events)!

We have now raised $72,408 over the 8-YEARS of our game!
