Open Timber - The Waterford
PURSE $7,000. 3 miles, fences not to exceed 3’6; For Five-Year-Olds and Upward. Weight 165 lbs.
Entry Fee: $200
Novice Timber - The Harwood
PURSE $2,000. 3 miles, fences not to exceed 3’6”.. For Five-Year-Olds and Upward which have not won over timber prior to the 1st of the current year; Weight 165 lbs.; for each win since the 1st of the current year add 5 lbs. Entry Fee: $100
Maiden Timber Race – The J. Thomas & Mary Scrivener Memorial
PURSE $2,000. 3 miles; fences not to exceed 3’6”. For Five-Year-Olds and Upward which have never won a race over timber. Five-year olds $160; Older 165 lbs. Entry Fee: $100
Training Flat Race
PURSE $500. About 1 mile 3 furlongs. For Four-Year-Olds and Upward. 155 lbs. Maidens allowed 5 lbs. Entry Fee: $50; riders must have finished in at least 3 point-to-points or be acceptable by the race committee.
Amateur Rider Flat Race
PURSE $500. About 2 miles on the turf. For Four-Year-Olds and Upward. 155 lbs.; To be ridden by amateur riders. Entry Fee: $50; riders must be be acceptable by the race committee
$3,000 Trainer Award
• $500 will be awarded to the Leading Trainer in the Open Timber.
• $500 will be awarded to the Leading Trainer in the Novice Timber.
• $500 will be awarded to the Leading Trainer in the Maiden Timber
• $250 will be awarded to the Leading Trainer Training Flat
• $250 will be awarded to the Leading Trainer Amateur Flat
• $1,000 will be awarded to the Overall Leading Trainer to be determined by total points in all horse races.
