2021 Riley's Rumble Update:

As of today, it is our intention to hold a safe event on May 1, 2021.
The 2021 race will take place at Riley's Lock on the C&O Canal.

However, there are steps that need to be taken before we can say the race is a “go" -- these steps have been made significantly more challenging due to COVID-19.

Permitting for events has become tedious, difficult & all-around not guaranteed. Our staff and race team are working very hard to overcome this hurdle. We understand that our participants are used to races being planned much farther in advance – we are too – but due to the pandemic, things are happening much more “last minute.” Please keep an eye on this space and we will continue to share important updates as to the status of the race. As soon as we can open registration, meaning all permits are in hand, we will post an update and a link.
