Our why.
This race is where our two worlds collide. Our Sole KIDs 5K. And the final race of our Boise Four series. We call it our winter race rounding out all the seasons along with Boise River Marathon, Boise Marathon, and City of Trees Marathon. Boise does every season so dang well.
By way of background, we added this race when Zeitgeist Half Marathon folded. That was one cool road course. (We've tried. Ugh, I don't want to talk about it.) 237 runners took off over at Alberston's Stadium. Kinda like what we just did.
For this year on Nov. 14th, we'll be back at Julia Davis Park and run the same course we did last year. While we like to throw different races at ya'll, sometimes it's good to do a same course again. Course remains the same, the person running it again isn't kinda thing. You'll see.
We're expecting around 1000 folk this round. Should be fun.
The course is online. Some of you eagle eyes always notice the online maps look short. That's because we don't use Strava to measure our courses. We use/obsess over the physical BQ measurement process. Those two things are not the same.
