LET ME MAKE SOMETHING CRYSTAL CLEAR.
Since the rumor mill is apparently working overtime and the keyboard warriors have plenty to say about the Northeast Outlaw Invasion, I’m going to address a few things myself.
I have NEVER been afraid to own my mistakes, and I’m sure as hell not going to start now.
FIRST — LET’S TALK ABOUT PARKING.
Yes, reserved parking was $100 for the ENTIRE weekend.
Were there parking issues? ABSOLUTELY.
And guess what? THAT IS 100% ON ME.
I originally laid out the parking spots at 12 feet wide. Looking back, I should have allowed fewer trailers per row and made the spots 14–16 feet wide to better accommodate the larger toterhomes and haulers.
That was MY mistake. Not the racers’, not the parking crew’s. MINE.
I saw what worked, I saw what didn’t, and I learned from it.
IN 2027, PARKING WILL LOOK DIFFERENT!
We will make the necessary adjustments because when racers spend their hard-earned money to come support my event, they deserve better.
SECOND — LET’S ADDRESS THAT EVER-SO-POPULAR DRAW FEE.
This one really gets under my skin.
The draw fee was NEVER something I wanted to implement at the Northeast Outlaw Invasion.
When I agreed to work with the KKM/NARA series, I was originally told I had no financial obligation. I was then blindsided with a $1,000 PER DAY sanctioning fee.
Unfortunately, I did not have the additional capital available to cover that unexpected expense, and a draw fee was imposed.
Was the fee disclosed ahead of time? NO.
Was it a hidden fee? YES.
HELL, I DIDN’T EVEN KNOW ABOUT IT MYSELF UNTIL IT WAS PUT ON ME!
But at the end of the day, MY name is on this event. I’m the promoter, and I understand that the responsibility ultimately falls on my shoulders.
I have always preached that racing needs to be affordable, that promoters need to be transparent, and that racers shouldn’t be nickel-and-dimed every time they pull through the gate.
And I intend to stand behind those words.
SO HERE’S WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT IN 2027.
* NO SANCTIONING BODY.
* NO DRAW FEES.
* NO HIDDEN FEES.
* IMPROVED PARKING.
* COMPLETE TRANSPARENCY ON WHAT IT COSTS TO RACE.
My vision from DAY ONE has been to build an event that puts the RACERS FIRST.
Not a sanctioning body. Not somebody else’s pocket. THE RACERS.
We went from $300 to start in year one, to $650 in year two, to a record-setting $1,000 to start in year three.
And in 2027?
$10,000 TO WIN. $2,000 JUST TO TAKE THE GREEN. A $66,000 TOTAL PURSE!
I’m not claiming to be a perfect promoter. I’m going to make mistakes. But the difference is that I’m willing to admit them, learn from them, and FIX THEM.
If you have an issue with something at my event, PICK UP THE PHONE AND CALL ME. My number isn’t a secret. I’d rather have an honest conversation with a racer than read a hundred rumors on Facebook.
To every racer, sponsor, crew member, and fan who has supported this event, THANK YOU. You are the reason I continue to push the limits of what micro sprint racing can be.
And to those who have legitimate concerns, I’m listening. I can’t change what happened in 2026, but I CAN change how we do things moving forward.
