The theme for this year’s Blissfield River Raisin Festival Parade is “The Dog Days of Summer”! We invite those of you who have fur babies that are friendly with other dogs and their people to be part of the parade, helping to celebrate Bracken and Cavanaugh the Irish Setters being this year’s Grand Marshals. Lineup will be at the High School parking lot. Parking is restricted to the area surrounding the school, but not at the actual staging area. Make sure to bring refreshments for your puppies, as it is a lengthy parade.

Registration is now open for one of our favorite newer events the we**ie dog race! Kick off is 4pm. Come on down to the dog park and get registered! Even if you don’t have a Dachshund, there is an open class for other breeds of dogs!! Generously sponsored by Christian Etheridge of State Farm insurance!

The rain has moved out and it’s much cooler down at the park now!! Tractor pulls Sponsored by Nutrien Ag Solutions have started, as well as Kiddie tractor pulls with Michigan Pedal Pullers, and the Battle of the Bands will be coming up at 3pm! Kids’ corner is still filled with tons of free fun for the littles including character meet and greets and the very popular kids train ran by Lenawee Intergenerational Learning Academy Come enjoy the afternoon with us!🚜🎤🎸
