I celebrated LYS Day wearing my new "Reflection" sweater (design by Yumiko Alexander, Dan Doh) knitted in Berroco Modern Linen.

The Yellow Rose Fiber Fiesta provided the perfect backdrop with these adorable alpacas and lamas from the JCZ Farm.

Mini knitting vacation ❣️🤠☕️🧶❣️

I discovered this hat pattern in the Farm & Fiber Knits Spring 2026 issue and wondered what the leaves would look like in a variegated yarn.

I love the results.

The in-the-round stranded color work was very relaxing to knit, and the smart decreases look amazing.

The background black has enough Tonal effects to be a black that is comfortable to work with. The variegated yarn is held together with a thin mohair to adjust yarn thickness ... and adding a touch of a halo.

Yarns: Chaos Fiber Co, Tonal DK in Black Cat, Variegated Merlin Sock in Mossy Maple Grove, and Whisper Kid Silk in Avocado
