Get Ready for the Sorghum Stomp! 🎶 Grandaddy Mimm’s is kicking off the first week of Sorghum in the Mountains with a night full of music, food, and family fun! Join them on Saturday, October 11th for a live outdoor performance by The Waymore's Outlaws, playing from 7pm–10pm (gates open at 6pm).

There’ll be delicious food, a bounce house for the kids, and good vibes all around. We’re looking forward to seeing y’all there! 👢

The syrup pans typically used for heating sorghum juice are long, shallow and narrow. You might hear them referred to as evaporator pans. They can be made of stainless steel or copper. They can be manufactured or individually fabricated. The pan that will be used at Sorghum in the Mountains was manufactured quite some time ago, but the wooden framework was re-worked to accommodate the process layout.
