Hey there Zwift riding triathletes! The weather is turning colder and thankfully Zwift has continued to expand. Have you tried the new "Jungle Circuit" yet? You must be at level 10 or above to have this route as an option, but it's a fun new ride! The route is a lollipop design, with opportunity to do multiple loops/circuits through the jungle (the loop itself takes somewhere in the 13 to 17 or so minutes depending on intensity). The ride out to the loop is a good warm up of 25 or so minutes. Happy riding and watch out for the sloth!

Speaking of toughness, congratulations to Malin Fjallstrom-Hosack, who successfully completed her first ever Ironman! This IM Maryland race was postponed due to weather two weeks prior, which forced a serious change in plans, yet Malin kept tough and made her dream come true in the winds of coastal MD. Yeah for you Iron-Malin, so proud!

So proud of this tough woman! Kristen Chang not only finished 8th overall, and 1st in her Age Group at B2B Full (140.6 miler), she also ran a 8:57 paced marathon and NEGATIVE split that sucker. Yes, she kept getting faster as the miles progressed...in an Ironman distance race. Crazy strong as two of her final 4 miles were ran at 8:04 and 8:10 pace...that is just silly good!

To ride outside in the rain or to not...that is the question. Obviously it's a personal choice with plenty of factors to consider.

Splish, splash, splosh. Do you cycle in the rain or do you just get wet? Cycling in the rain is unpleasant at best, miserable at worst. It's of little consolation that nobody can see your tears whe...
