This year's Connecticut Garlic & Harvest Festival will be held this weekend, October 11-12, at the Bethlehem Fairgrounds from 9-6 on Saturday and 9-5 on Sunday. Admission is $10 for adults and $1 for children under 12. Over 50 food trucks/ vendors will be present selling unique garlic specialties plus your fair food favorites! 250+ vendors in total selling all sorts of hand-made crafts, specialty foods, and of course... garlic! Garlic growing lectures, cooking demos, and a live music performance each day. Bounce houses, pony rides, & petting zoo for the kids, plus free pumpkin decorating and a magic show! Enjoy a beautiful fall weekend at one of New England's largest food festivals!

Nicky Zooks Mozzarella will be an exciting new addition to the North End Food Court at the Connecticut Garlic & Harvest Festival this weekend at the Bethlehem Fairgrounds. 14-year-old Nicky Zooks will be making his first appearance making his homemade fresh mozzarella balls along with his focaciatta sandwiches which include: fresh mozzarella, tomato and basil with a garlic pesto aioli and balsamic glaze also with your choice of chicken cutlet or fried eggplant. Stop by their booth right near the Bethlehem Fair office house!

Aquidneck Honey will be a new addition to next weekend’s Connecticut Garlic & Harvest Festival at the Bethlehem Fairgrounds. Garlic honey? The best? Local? They say it couldn't be done! But guess what people… we at Aquidneck honey have figured it out. A family owned and local company based out of Ma has exactly what you garlic lovers want and in fact need. Delicious and nutritious. Our "regular" garlic honey is great to eat right out of the bottle or put on foods like pizza, Croissants, or bagels. Now for our spicy honey lovers we have something truly special for you. Triple Trinidad scorpion garlic honey! That has both a subtle taste and serious bite. Whichever you choose, you will not be disappointed. Don’t forget! We have limited pumpkin spice! JK’s Pizza will be joining the Connecticut Garlic & Harvest Festival next weekend at the Bethlehem Fairgrounds. JK’s offers giant slices of authentic, NY Style, hand-crafted pizza that is absolutely delicious. Topped with garlic, pepperoni, pepperoni & hot cherry peppers, or just plain cheese, you won’t go wrong with whatever you choose. And for dessert? Hand-scooped old fashioned Italian ice! You can find them in our South End food court next to the Mother Goose Barn.

Macken’s Sliders will be returning to the North End food court at the Connecticut Garlic & Harvest Festival next weekend at the Bethlehem Fairgrounds. They will be offering a wide variety of sliders, including: Pierogi slider- 100% beef burger, potato and cheese pierogi as the bun, roasted garlic and onions topped with sour cream and chives; The Roasted Garlic: 100% angus beef, smooth garlic aioli, topped with roasted garlic slivers and cheddar cheese; Garlic smoked chicken sliders; BBQ Cowboy: 100% angus beef, cajun mayo, cheddar cheese, signature BBQ sauce, and fried onion straws; Irish Beer: 100% angus beef, stone ground mustard with light horseradish infused with dark stout beer, sauteed onions, and cheddar cheese; Jamaican Jerk Chicken: modestly seasoned jerk chicken, grilled pineapple, topped with cool refreshing slaw; El Diablo: 100% angus beef, sriracha fire sauce, cheddar cheese, & jalapenos; Caprese: fresh sliced tomato, mozzarella cheese, basil pesto, & balsamic vinegar reduction. Piggin Out BBQ will be serving up their delicious pulled pork in a variety of creative ways at this year’s Connecticut Garlic & Harvest Festival October 11-12 at the Bethlehem Fairgrounds. Garlic seasoned pulled pork sandwiches with garlic aioli served with a side of pickle & coleslaw; cheesy pulled pork sweet mesquite fries; cheesy pulled pork nachos topped with diced tomatoes, garlic aioli, & cilantro; & BBQ sundaes. The BBQ sundaes consist of layered baked beans, mac & cheese, pulled pork & mashed potatoes, topped with a cherry tomato & pickles, served in Piggin Out BBQ souvenir jars.
