Our Ruritan Club lost one of our biggest supporters today. Mary Broy, the mother of our president Brad Broy, passed away this morning at home. She was a strong, smart woman who loved her family so much. To our club and our entire community; she was giving. Not many community fundraisers took place with out Mary at a table. Man, oh man; she loved a good Bingo Game, Sportsman Bash, Centerpiece Workshop, or Cash Party. And, she was very open about the fact that she loved to win! We will miss that big personality at all of our events.

The Ruritans are grateful for all of her contributions to our Club, including her always being there to guide us and give us advice when needed. Rest in peace, Mary.

What a great way to wrap up our Fair Season! Over 270 fair volunteers gathered together tonight. We hope everyone of them left feeling appreciated! I had to do a second order to make sure those that expressed interest got the right size and it’s left me with a surplus. (Note: if we’ve connected directly in the past, please check your email or messenger to arrange drop off.)

All proceeds go directly to fund next years pigs. If All of these get sold - Its about 6 pigs funded - we normally have between 100 and 120. Every little bit helps! 🐷
