Our passion for music and expression goes into every pedal we make. We design products that help musicians find the tone they have been searching for, in a compact package with the features musicians want. Through careful layout, component selection, manufacturing techniques, and quality control practices, our goal is to build the most reliable and best sounding effect pedals possible. Through per

forming, recording, and listening to people's needs, our designs start with a problem, and become a solution in the form of an effect pedal that helps musicians achieve your sonic goals. Dingotone effect pedals are designed and built in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

The world lost a whole lot of groove today 😞

"We are saddened by the news today that our Compadre, Dusty Hill, has passed away in his sleep at home in Houston, TX. We, along with legions of ZZ Top fans around the world, will miss your steadfast presence, your good nature and enduring commitment to providing that monumental bottom to the ‘Top'. We will forever be connected to that "Blues Shuffle in C.”

You will be missed greatly, amigo.

I love fun facts...

In the early 50s La Bella visited Leo Fender in Fullerton California with his first order of guitar strings! 144 sets to be exact. Imagine all the very first telecasters had La Bella strings strung up with them! We recreated these very strings as a limited edition. We used the very same constructions, and pure nickel wire as we did in that era. If your looking for that original tone made famous by so many players, look no further !

What volume pedal would you buy again if you had to?

I’m digging Roland’s BOSS FV-30H... and I haven’t even modded it yet.

Fun fact:
Rumour has it, the FV series of cast aluminum, pedalboard-friendly volume and expression pedals were designed in Canada.

Guitarist Russell Broom reviews and demos the BOSS FV-30H Foot Volume pedal. Follow BOSS Canada & Roland Canada: Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/rolandc...

Dingotone HZD Boost sighting in Vancouver đŸ˜Č

For all of your instruments.

Use as a buffer
an always-on boost/EQ
a clean-boost
a rhythm- or hot pickup-cut
a quiet instrument boost
an acoustic guitar pickup preamp
a banjo pickup boost
a tube amp-overdriver
a boost for your favourite overdrive pedal
an overall EQ
a Baxandall EQ
even as a mute.

Fun fact: The Z in HZD stands for ‘impedance’. It converts your high impedance instrument signal into a robust, low impedance signal that preserves your instrument’s fidelity and lets it travel through pedals and long cable runs, without losing tone.

We won’t ghost your tone.

In Loving Memory of...
From his friend, James Bukowiec

“I am sad to announce that Brian passed away at 11:30 last night June 5th 2019. Your donations and comments touched his heart and lifted his spirits. Your care for him and his family brought him an appreciation and a peace in his last days. Your donations will make a difference.

“He is in a better place. No more pain. No more struggle. Just pure joy, face to face with Our Lord Jesus, creator and lover of his soul. Thank you all again.”
May he Rest In Peace.

Jim Dunlop Sr. presenting Stevie Ray Vaughan with a rare, gold-plated Cry Baby wah-wah.

Our sincerest condolences on the passing of Jim Dunlop Sr.

The Canadian machinist and inventor, who built one of the biggest guitar-products companies in the world, passed away late February 6, 2019.

Originally from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, his first innovations were capos, and then his now-famous guitar picks. Maybe you’ve heard of Tortex. Believe it or not, people used to harvest tortoiseshell for guitar picks, and when it became illegal, Jim Dunlop was the first to replicate the feel and texture synthetically. You probably have one in your guitar case or pocket right now.

Maybe his best ‘invention’ was introducing line after line of guitar picks, in patented materials like Tortex, Delrin, and Ultex, that were consistently the same thickness, and in a variety of practical shapes. Colour-coded, guitar pick thickness-by-colour is now almost expected.

It’s nearly impossible to visit a guitar store, or a guitarist for that matter, and not find a Dunlop product.

Not only an inventor, he was also a savvy businessman, acquiring brand after brand, and turning them into even bigger brands. Maybe you’ve heard of Cry Baby (wah-wah pedals), MXR, and Herco (Neil Young’s pick-brand of choice). There’s also a Cry Baby wah-wah movie.

When you see an effect pedal or guitar accessory with Jimi Hendrix’ name on it, that’s because of Jim Dunlop Sr. He was the first to sign a deal with Al Hendrix, Jimi’s father, with the vision to create the most authentic Jimi-sounding effects available, starting with Jimi’s signature wah-wah pedal.
“I don’t know what it’s all about yet, but I’m going to figure it out.”
- Jim Dunlop Sr.

May he Rest In Peace.
