Meet our gold 🥇 sponsor Erica Vasile

 
Erica is a North Carolina native through and through. She grew up in Durham, moved to Greensboro during high school, and later graduated from UNC Greensboro before earning her MSW from Monmouth University in New Jersey.

Before stepping into real estate, Erica spent more than 13 years serving the Greensboro community as a school social worker and foster care case manager.

In 2013, she moved to Charlotte and found herself in a completely different world as the General Manager at Rhino Market & Deli, where she spent nearly five years strengthening her skills in customer service, operations, and community engagement.

After a brief move to Denver right before the pandemic, Erica and her family quickly realized how much they missed North Carolina and returned home in 2021. Around that time, she joined 5 Points Realty as the Office Manager — a role that immediately felt like the perfect fit.

Since then, Erica has earned her real estate licenses in both NC and SC and now blends her background in social work, customer service, and operations to support both clients and agents with a thoughtful, people‑first approach.

She has been a proud Belmont resident for the past four years and loves being part of the community.

Outside of work, Erica spends most of her time with family, spoiling her four‑legged pets (Monty proudly serves as the “Official NC/SC 5 Points Realty Mascot,” and dog day is Wednesday), or painting watercolors.

And one thing you should know about Erica: if she tells you it’s her birthday… don’t believe her.

Lorrie volunteered her time last year to photograph our inaugural event, and she far exceeded our expectations. Her talent for capturing the love, joy and authenticity in our community is unmatched. Because of her generosity, we have been able to re-live that special day over and over ❤️

New at Belmont Pride this Year ~ the Kids Zone! 🤸‍♀️

From 12-6pm at the Market at , the littles can visit the Kids Zone tent where they can enjoy:

Clearly the adults will want to partake in all of this too, so don't worry, everyone is welcomed 🫶

There's no better way for kids to understand the true meaning of LOVE than to include them in the joy and fun of Pride. It was incredible to see how many families showed up last year, and we can't wait to see even more excitement this year!

Taking the Belmont Pride stage at 1:00 p.m. is Spite & Malice!

Spite & Malice brings together Vox Dominae and 7th Son into one mixed-voice ensemble built for precision, blend, and a more intimate sound.

Smaller by design, this group leans into tight harmonies, strong musical choices, and performances that feel bolder and more personal than a full chorus.

Spite & Malice is a select small ensemble of the Gay Men’s Chorus of Charlotte and Women’s Chorus of Charlotte.

Live Music at the 2nd Annual Belmont Pride Festival featuring

Camp Calico is a four-piece indie rock band from Charlotte, NC pairing upbeat melodies and cathartic, layered harmonies with lyrics that evoke the familiar feelings of existential unease and anxiety, creating music to burrow its way into your subconscious, and make you feel a little less lonely when you’re feeling alone.
