We are thrilled to welcome Mateo Block to the speaker lineup this October at the Seattle Center. Mateo is the founder of a company dedicated to direct trade sourcing, traditional methods, and honoring the connection between cacao and the land it comes from.

With years of experience working on organic farms across the US and South America, Mateo developed a deep understanding of cacao cultivation and chocolate making while living in Peru. His deep knowledge of permaculture, food forestry, and sustainable farming brings a unique perspective to the world of chocolate.

We are thrilled to have him share his experience and passion with our festival community this year.

We are so excited to welcome back to the 18th Annual NW Chocolate Festival in Seattle this year. Last year they took home a Best in Show award and it’s no surprise—this internationally celebrated, award-winning chocolatier is known for its uncompromising commitment to quality, artistry, and innovation.

Founded in 2010, ChocoMe is built on a clear mission: to create the perfect chocolate using only the finest ingredients, sourced from world-renowned producers, and crafted entirely by hand in their Budapest workshop. Every piece reflects their philosophy of passion, precision, and continuous innovation, transforming premium cacao and carefully selected inclusions into visually stunning, flavor-forward creations.

We can’t wait to see what they bring to Seattle this year—ChocoMe continues to set a high bar for what artisanal chocolate can be.
