Our partners at Potter Jane Distilling Co. dropped their first release, Big Vat Liar, to celebrate National Bourbon Week. Delicious! And already sold out...however, batch two is in stores now!

Jane hosted two blending experiences on site at the distillery, walking guests through the process to create their first Big Vat Liar release. Guests were then able to create their own blend, bottle that, and take it home for future enjoyment.

Cheers to a very successful first National Bourbon Week for our new partners at Potter Jane! So much more to come from this awesome team.

We're just barely past our 2026 National Bourbon Week celebration and we're already in talks with partner distilleries for 2027! We can't wait to keep building National Bourbon Week year after year for our friends all around the United States that travel in.

2026 featured new events like a downtown bar crawl, unique educational opportunities centered around blending, wood finishing, and water treatments, four incredible special releases and more. So tell us, what would YOU like to see in 2027? We'll do our best to make it happen!

The second annual Bourbon Capital Mash Up at beautiful Bespoke in Bond in downtown Bardstown was EVERYTHING! 160 ticketed guests. Ten incredible distilleries paired with local culinary talent. Chef Newman Miller slinging duck confit tacos in our VIP Lounge at Neat Bardstown sponsored by Visit Bardstown. Mash Up etched Glens furnished by Kentucky Bourbon Festival. The Bluegrass Bitters Suite, the J Shepherd Cigar Shop, live glassware etching from Last Cut Crystal, charitable bottle pull to benefit the Guthrie Opportunity Center and so much more, this event was not to be missed! We'll do it again on Friday of the 2027 National Bourbon Week! 🥃

We are so incredibly excited for the Bluegrass Bitters Suite this evening at the Bourbon Capital Mash Up! Our partners at Bluegrass Bitters are activating a room at BESPOKE IN BOND where they will showcase their KY Proud bitters, simple syrups and more. They have even pre-batched very small Old Fashioned cocktail ingredients that can be poured into a Glencairn featuring a pour from our ten partner distilleries. Swish it around and you have a tiny Old Fashioned sample to enjoy!

National Bourbon Week - Thursday Recap!

Take a look at these photos from the very special National Bourbon Week Dinner at The Kitchen Table at James B. Beam Distilling Co. What a night!

70+ guests enjoyed an elegant four course meal with paired cocktails for each. Ricotta gnocchi was paired with the Summer Garden Highball, featuring Jim Beam Single Barrel, clarified lemon, basil and soda. Other courses included a sugar baby watermelon & burrata salad, delicious espresso & cocoa rubbed eye of ribeye, and a decadent strawberry shortcake paired with the Strawberry Buck, K**b Creek 9 Year, lemon and ginger beer.

Tonight...the sold out Bourbon Capital Mash Up at Bespoke in Bond featuring all ten partner distilleries paired with local culinary vendors for pours and bites of food. We can't wait!

One of our Bourbon Capital Mash Up partners, Last Cut Crystal, has produced this incredible Mash Up logoed decanter and rocks set for the silent auction. Aaron w/ Last Cut Crystal is one of a very few people in the country that still etch glass by hand with stones and a lathe...a true art!

Mash Up attendees will get to see Aaron in action at the event as well as have the opportunity to purchase his bespoke glasses as well as bid on this incredible set.

National Bourbon Week - Wednesday Recap!

Our partners at Potter Jane Distilling Co., Maker's Mark & Lux Row Distillers put on some incredible events on day four of National Bourbon Week!

Jane Bowie, Master Blender at Potter Jane Distilling Co., led a group through a blending experience for their newly launched Big Vat Liar whiskey. Guests were treated to a tour of the recently built distillery and then sat down to hear from Jane all about how Big Vat Liar came about, blending their very own.

Maker's Mark hosted Bill's Bourbon Soiree w/ Master Distiller Dr. Blake Layfield at the stunning visitor center on the beautiful distillery grounds. Guests sang happy birthday to Bill Samuels Jr., who ironically (and quite appropriately!) shares a birthday with National Bourbon Day, June 14. Guests were treated to incredible cocktails and bites on a beautiful night.

Lux Row Distillers closed things out hosting close to 100 at the distillery campus. The Front Yard BBQ w/ Master Distiller John Rempe featured an incredible BBQ buffet smoked right there, live music, pours, cocktails and more.

What a day four! Day five is all sold out...another blending experience at Potter Jane and a special National Bourbon Week Dinner at The Kitchen Table at James B. Beam Distilling Co. 🥃

National Bourbon Week - Tuesday Recap!

The fun keeps going for the third annual National Bourbon Week! Yesterday, our partners at Log Still Distillery and Old SteelHouse Distillery hosted two amazing experiences.

Guests at Log Still Distillery were hosted by Founder and Distiller Wally Dant himself. The experience began in the beautiful tasting room overlooking The Amp at Log Still amphitheater with a delicious cocktail, then guests trekked to one of the on site B&Bs for some history of Log Still and Wally's unique bourbon lineage, before heading over to the Cold Spring that has fed water for on site distilleries for generations. Guests then headed to the distillery and lab where we tasted through various water samples (and whiskey, of course), before ending back at the tasting room for snacks. Such a fun and educational experience!

At the historic distillery grounds of Old SteelHouse, guests were taught about wood finishing, selecting from four unique wood cubes to tailor their taste profile to their liking. Guests then were able to age that product, checking back in on it until it has reached its peak, then bottled back into the 375 ml Batch 002 bottle. Guests were also treated to a tour of the historic grounds and enjoyed pours all along the way.
