Not the best pic- but we always enjoy dressing our sister Viah for many reasons but here’s why:

1. She has no choice but to accept the pain of wearing a Tuiga Fau 🤣 even when she was almost about to pass out 🤣

2. She’s such a beautiful dancer 😍

The importance of showing up for each other ❤️

Our sister Lala is currently grieving the sudden death of her grandmother 🥺 and today they held her family service before they take her back home.

Our team had to split up given that fact that we had 3 events going on today - but truly thankful for a great team and sisterhood.

We love you Lala ❤️

Last but certainly not least, we proudly introduce the Founder and visionary behind Fa’atiniotausala Siva Academy

Normani Puipui Mauga ✨
Executive Director

Hailing from the beautiful villages of Fagasa and Pago Pago, American Samoa, Normani is the heart, soul, and driving force behind everything FSA represents today. What began as a passion for culture, dance, and community has grown into a place where students and families are able to connect, learn, and proudly embrace their heritage.

Known for wearing many hats, Normani truly does it all. From creating and designing teuga, organizing productions and performances, mentoring students, supporting families behind the scenes, coordinating events, and leading with vision and purpose — her dedication never goes unnoticed. Her creativity, leadership, and work ethic continue to shape the foundation of Fa’atiniotausala Siva Academy season after season.

More than just a founder, Normani is someone who pours her heart into every student who walks through our doors. She believes in building confidence, discipline, respect, and pride through the art of siva Samoa. Her goal has always been bigger than dance — it has been about creating a family, preserving our culture, and giving the next generation a space where they feel seen, supported, and empowered.
Through long nights, countless hours of preparation, and the many sacrifices that come with leadership, Normani continues to serve our academy with grace and passion. Her love for our people and culture is reflected in every performance, every detail, and every opportunity she creates for our students.

Fa’atiniotausala Siva Academy would not be what it is without her vision, strength, and unwavering commitment. We are forever grateful for the love, sacrifice, and leadership she continues to give to this academy and community.
