Getting together this choir was a dream of Shawn's that he started in 2013. Of course trying to get this choir together required a lot of footwork and talking. So he mentioned it to his co-founder Minister Melissa Smith and she happily jumped on board. Shawn and Minister Melissa reached out to several of the churches in Henry County and received such a great response. Not only from members of the
churches, but the churches themselves. Several of the churches in Henry County have showed their support. Both, Shawn and Melissa were shocked at the turnout and responses of people who were interested in joining the choir. And now today, the active roster consist of over 80 members!!!! If you like old, traditional gospel songs, you don't want to miss a single event.
