Calling all friends in the hospitality industry that might be interested in a super cool industry experience/opportunity! The Les Dames d'Escoffier (LDEI) Legacy Awards program, now in its 14th year, is accepting applications for targeted mentorship opportunities. And if you know someone who might be interested in one of the six, please feel free to pass it along!! We usually have many more applications by this time, so you have a good shot if you have the experience, desire, and get your application in (by March 17) on time. :) See details below and click here for more info: https://ldei.org/awards/legacy-awards/
Each Legacy Award winner earns an experience of approximately one week working alongside accomplished LDEI members. The competition is open to professional women from the U.S., Mexico, the U.K., Canada, and France who are not current or past members of LDEI but have a minimum of four years’ experience working in their industry.
In 2023, distinguished members of LDEI are offering six experiences in six categories: Catering & Event Planning (New York chapter); Culinary Entrepreneurship (Philadelphia chapter); Food Journalism (St. Louis chapter); Hotels & Hospitality (Nashville chapter); Supply Chain (Austin, TX chapter); and Wine & Hospitality (Wente Family Estates).
The Legacy Awards, supported by The Julia Child Foundation for Gastronomy and the Culinary Arts, and additional support by the Timothy Lam Foundation, were established in 2009 by Les Dames d’Escoffier International with one goal in mind: to provide targeted mentorship opportunities for professional women in the food, beverage, and hospitality industries.
