UPDATE!! Applications are now available for sponsorship and vendor opportunities for the 2021 Homespun Festival planned for October 2, 2021! Please read the applications VERY carefully. After consulting with medical professionals and in adherence with the Georgia Department of Public Health event guidelines, the Polk County Chamber of Commerce has made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 Homespun Festival. Out of respect for the festivals previously scheduled for the fall, Homespun will not be rescheduled for a later date. Vendors will be issued refunds within the next 24 hours.

Our board has already began the process of planning for the 2021 festival, which will include exciting new additions, including an emphasis on the “HOME” in Homespun. We plan to welcome businesses from around Polk County to participate in the festival as we transition into the recovery and resiliency phase of the coronavirus pandemic. Businesses throughout Polk County are invited to participate in 2021, regardless of product or service sold. These HOMEtown businesses will receive a discounted vendor fee as we stand alongside you in the rebuilding of our community. Applications for Polk County businesses will be forthcoming.

A special edition HOMEspun shirt will also be sold for 2021, honoring the small business community. Proceeds from the sale of this shirt will be given back in the form of Small Business Grants to Polk County businesses as they continue in their recovery process.

While we are certainly heartbroken that this year’s event has been canceled, we are excited for the future and the continued opportunity to stand with our community to enhance, support and advocate for a prosperous Polk County.

Please note: This page is not being monitored today and tomorrow as we are out setting up. For any questions please visit our booth at the festival located behind the Veterans Memorial monument.

TOMORROW IS THE 2019 HOMESPUN FESTIVAL! We are so excited. Below are a few reminders to help make the most of your time at the festival!

1. Please remember for the safety of all guests, only service animals are permitted at the Festival.

2. As it is the middle of July please remember to stay hydrated and cool.

3. Please refer to photos on this page regarding entertainment schedules and a festival map.

4. Fireworks will begin promptly at 9:30PM on Saturday. If inclement weather occurs and fireworks need to be moved, it will be announced from the main stage and on this page.

5. To have the best festival experience make sure to visit the Car Show, Craft Area, Food Area, Sponsor Tents and Non-Profit booths as all of these individuals make Homespun possible!

6. No wheels of any kind are allowed on the foot bridge. Please make sure to use the Silver Comet Trail concrete bridge if needed.

Currently there is a chance for rain on Friday & Saturday. We are keeping a close watch and crossing our fingers it passes over.

IF we have to reschedule fireworks it will be posted on this page once the decision has been made as well as announced from the main stage. The rescheduled date will be announced at a later time.

Homespun is 6 days away! Come out and support our local non-profits who will have informational booths set up: Life Matters Outreach, RHS Marching Band, Rotary Club, CASA, The Magic Yarn Project, Mosaic Place and Our House!
